I own nothing. It's just a pointless drabble - this is seriously: The. Most. Pointless. Thing. I've. Ever. Written.

"Dad, look what I drew!"

"That's real nice, kiddo."

"You didn't even look."

Ponyboy looked up from the piece he was checking over before he had to send it to his editor. He looked down at the sour look on his son's face and sighed, relenting. He came over to where Pony was sitting at the table and held it up high.

"Oh, hey look at that ... " he said enthusiastically, smiling at his kid. "That's - uh ... well, what is it?"

"It's us!" he exclaimed. "See, that's me ... " He pointed to the smallest figure with blonde hair, "That's Mommy ... " He pointed to a blonde woman in the picture ... "And that's you!" There was something strange about his picture though.

"Uh, what's that on my foot?"

"Oh, that's a a chain sticking you to the house so you can't leave to go to work!" the little boy said cheerfully.

"Oh. That's nice." He laughed, and scooped up his son onto his lap. Just then his wife called from the kitchen, "Lunch!"

She came out with three plates, and put them in front of the two boys. Pony took his right away, but his son frowned at his. "What's wrong, buddy?" he said through a bite of sandwich.

He peered up at his dad. "I don't like bologna."

Pony looked at his wife, expecting her to fix the sandwich filling crisis. She sighed. "Well, one of you has to eat it."

"But I don't like bologna!" they both said at the same time. She put her hands on her hips, and pursed her lips.

The little boy smiled cheekily at his dad.

Pony sighed and picked up the untouched sandwich. "Oh, alright. You really have no idea how much this kills me though. You're so lucky I'm as nice as I am, kid."

The little boy grinned triumphantly, hazel eyes sparkling and said something that couldn't have been farther from the truth:

"Cheer up, Dad. It's just a sandwich."
