An Angst, A Bad Day A Cup of Tea and a Cuddle
"I am not an invalid Severus!"
"Yes you are Remus, you-"
"I'm what Severus? Crippled? I am in a fucking wheelchair that is all; I am no less capable than you are! And I can make my own bloody cup of tea!"
"Fine!"
Severus turned his back on the werewolf and continued making the dinner.
"Sev- Sev please don't I'm sorry I just, I need time to adjust, ok?"
"So do I Rem, you aren't the only one who's life's been turned upside down, I've lost half my husband, and he can't stop shouting at me, and he's hurting and there's fucking NOTHING I can do about it!"
Severus slammed the knife he'd been using to cut the vegetables with into the sink and slammed his palms into his eyes.
"I am scared I'm losing the only man I ever loved, and I can't do anything about it but watch him go"
"Sev" Remus wheeled himself over to where Severus was now sitting. "Sev, if you don't know by now that I'll never leave you, then you are clearly not as intellectual as we all thought you were." Severus snorted.
Remus wheeled himself to the other side of the love seated and paced the brakes on his chair, he then began the long process of heaving himself on to the chair, easy enough, the hard part was not falling on the ground and leaving himself stranded until someone more "able" could lift him on to his desired destination. He placed his two hands on the chair and braced himself, counting inwards "1, 2-"
"Severus you move to help me and by Merlin I will cut your balls off and feed them to Nagini"
After a tense few minutes, and a very tired werewolf, Remus finally got himself on to the seat. He shuffled closer to his husband and laid his head on his shoulder. Severus moved to put his arm around his husband's waist.
"Look at me Sev"
Severus turned to look at him
"Do I look any different to you, than I did three months ago?"
The darker man shook his head
"Then please baby, don't treat me like I'm any different, okay?"
The potions master nodded, and kissed his husband, before moving Remus's head to lie on his cheat. They sat silently for a few minutes, just listening to the rain on the window.
"Shit"
Severus glanced at the werewolf with a worried expression, he looked sheepish.
"Sev"
"Yes Remus"
"Can you get me a cup of tea please?"
