In Wonderland, the stars in the night sky twinkled brighter than anything Hatter Madigan had ever seen. They glittered in the night sky, winking down at all of Wonderland like glittering diamonds.
He and Weaver, as they sat at Talon's Point, used to watch them together. Weaver had said that the stars in Wonderland gave her hope- that there was always light in the darkness. And that, in turn, had given Hatter hope as well.
However, in this strange, new place called Earth, Hatter couldn't help but wonder if there truly was hope.
Because, on Earth, he couldn't see the stars.
