He'd remembered that fight that started to long ago, the one where he let his mind replay sometimes and it all happened on a dark, rainy night.
Luka and Bayonetta have been arguing when the sun was going down until it was 2:30AM and they were both surprised that the neighbors haven't knocked on their door to complain already.
"Stop it-just stop it-no MORE!" Bayonetta yelled as she covered her ears with her hands, trying to block out her husband's words while everything was slipping right out of their hands. She ran out crying and Luka angrily turned around to the sanctuary of their bedroom but something inside of him told him to go after her so, he followed her out into the raining street.
Bay walked to the sidewalk before sitting down on it with Luka fallowing close behind, they braced themselves for the goodbye's because that's all they've ever known right? But, she took him by surprise when the witch took his hand in her own and said with a smile. "I'll never leave you alone." Tears streamed down his face as he couldn't believe in what he was hearing.
Bayonetta smiled and said that she remembered their time on the beach just watching the waves roll by, he smiled playfully at her while tapping her nose with his first finger.
"And every time I look at you it's like the first time!" Happy memories filled both of their minds including their wedding day which was the happiest moment of their lives.
All of this happened because he fell in love with a careless man's careful daughter and she's the best thing that's ever been his.
