It was a whisper. A sad whisper blown away by the forceful wind. This whisper that barely reached your ear. Even though it was whispered slightly inches from his ear.
We could never hear those sad last words. He did smile as his lips moved to utter that last goodbye. But the eyes, facial expression and his hands clawing the others shoulder told us otherwise.
It was sad. So sad, so sad. Just as the song escaping the living ones throat as your body went cold, falling to the ground.
Just as broken as the strangled sobs of the song he sang.
Just like the burning tears of pain and sorrow trailing down his cheek as he continued to sing.
Louder his voice pushed on. He sang. A song. Of pain and hurt. Only for you.
Such a song of deep heartbreak. Hoping you heard it. From up above. From down there. Or wherever you are gone. Praying inside that you can hear. This only song for you. A concert only for you.
