So yeah, my first submission xD It's a pretty short Soriku oneshot, so shounen-ai haters should be gone by now.. Disclaimer: Seriously, how could you think I own that freaking game? If I did, there would be yaoi in it. Lots of it..
I haven't played KH I or II, only COM and 358/2 Days partially, so it's kinda crappy..
Still, I put in as much as I know from all the cutscenes I've watched (which isn't much..) and a little bit of my own imagination :)
There he was again. Holding out his hand.. And probably, if Sora went to run towards him, he would be engulfed by a huge wave again, like last time.
But this time it was different. Riku didn't wear the clothes he was usually wearing. This time he was wearing a black sleeveless shirt with an also sleeveless white jacket over it, and baggy pants. Also, he looked kind of.. Desperate..?
Sora gave him a confused look. He went to walk slowly towards his best friend, to make sure it wasn't a trick again. He came closer but no water appeared, nor did Riku disappear.
He started running now and grabbed Riku's hand, but immediately regretted this when he saw a giant Heartless appear behind his friend's back. When Riku saw the frightened look on the brunette's face, he turned around. Almost immediately after that, he summoned Way To The Dawn. "I'll protect you Sora.. With my life", he said and started to fight the Heartless.
A little later, he had defeated it. Sora ran up to the silver-haired teen and hugged him. "Riku!", he said happily. "This isn't a dream.. Right..?", he asked softly when he let go of Riku. "No, Sora.. This is for real..", Riku said. A little smile crept upon Sora's face.
"Riku, I'm so glad I found you! I started thinking I'd never see you again..", the brunette said. Riku laughed for a second. "You were in the Darkness all that time?", Sora asked. The silver-haired nodded, followed by a 'm-hm'. "Wow..", Sora said. "What did you do all that time?". Then panic came to Riku. How did he tell his best friend about what he discovered while he was in the Darkness?
"I thought about things..", he lied. Well, it wasn't completely a lie. He did think about things. Mainly about Sora..
"Like what?" , Sora asked playful. Riku felt his face heat up. It weren't really the cleanest thoughts a human can have.. "Riku, you're turning crimson red, what's wrong?", Sora asked teasing. "Thought about Kairi too much?" .
Riku glared at him. "Of course not, you know I don't like her..", he said. "Then what's it?", Sora asked curiously. The silver-haired sighed. "If I'd tell you that, I would only ruin our friendship..", he said and suddenly his shoes were very interesting.
"So it does have to do something with Kairi!", Sora yelled, like he knew the answer already. "No, Sora!", Riku said. "Then what is it? Tell me please, please, pleaaaaaase?", Sora asked annoyingly.
Riku looked him right in the eyes. Those beautiful sky-blue orbs that represented the meaning of his name. Then, he didn't care anymore if it ruined their friendship or not. He just had to. He couldn't do nothing now and then live on and pretend that there's nothing wrong.
Cause there was something wrong with him. He was in love with his best friend. His best friend he knew from when they were still kids. His best friend who was a boy..
To Sora out of nowhere, to Riku out of his heart, he pressed his lips against those of the younger boy. First Sora was startled, but then he found himself relaxing and actually leaning into the kiss.
No..
No, this couldn't be..
Two boys couldn't love each other.
It's wrong.
Horribly wrong.
But still, it feels so good..
