She only knew one thing at that moment, that everything hurt. Just what was that which had clouded her vision with the images of an underwater paradise? Of a beautiful creature that seemed to be human in nature? Just what the hell was going on?
Sighing the blonde moved to sit up, elevating the damage to see exactly what was hurting.
Well, thank god I wasn't driving as fast as usual or this could be worse, although I am sure that my ankle is broken either way. She thought with a wince as she fished her phone out of the pocket of her shirt, sighing as she lay back down onto the blacktop and dialed a number.
"Hey Makoto, um...Do you think you could come and drive me to the doctor? Yeah, I'm fine just scrapped up but I think my ankle had the lick. Are you kidding? My Mom is paranoid as hell, I don't want to end up getting another lecture. At least if she starts nagging when I get home, I'll be on so much pain medicine it won't give me a headache."
She gave a laugh at the response she got, despite the fact that it irritated what she knew was bruised ribs.
Well, this is what I get for using my powers randomly while trying to drive...But I want to become the best racer there is, even if that means messing with air currents. But who is that girl that I keep seeing in my dreams and those visions? Why do I keep seeing her? Is someone trying to tell me that they need help? But then again, why me? Is it because I am the one closest to her location? Is it some kind of evil spirit trying to fool me?
Her thoughts turned dark as soon as she hung up, prompting her to close her eyes in order to try to understand what was going on. I have been having these dreams and visions ever since I started being a human whirlwind. Are the two connected?
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the city a young man sat inside a temple, lost in meditation as sweat rolled down his face. There is something coming...A change is in the air as if earth herself is shifting on her axis. Could it be that an awakening is going to happen, just like it did when Kunzite and the others awoke? But what could they be, we already have the reincarnations of the goddess Selene, Terra, and the four kings of heaven from Buddhist doctrine. What other's could exist out there?
Sighing he opened his eyes and looked around the small room that he was in, noticing the sleeping blond in the recliner across the room, which caused him to sigh. I swear just watching him sleep like that makes my back ache. I just hope that whatever this is, isn't trouble. But even so, with people with unnatural powers popping up regular humans are going to start taking notice. But I guess we can cross that bridge when we get to it...However, we better be prepared for anything. Who knows what kind of problems that lies ahead.
