Rick Riordan was mad. His last book, The Blood of Olympus, was getting a lot of crap because he didn't use Percy and Annabeth's POV in the book.
He went downstairs to make a cup of coffee, ignoring the screaming fan girls looking in through his windows.
He had an idea. The idea that would get the fangirls off his lawn and the critics to stop giving him crap about the last book.
Rick went back upstairs, unplugged his computer, and threw it out the window.
"I QUIT!" He screamed to the shocked fan girls outside.
Then he turned into a monkey.
