"Thank You"

.

.

If I were a master of words,

To keep quiet would be the best choice;

For no sound, even the songs of birds,

Can seize the essence of what I am to voice.

.

Like the warmth of a travel cloak

And the wind gliding to a lost sailboat;

You held onto me wherever I roam.

You gave free directions so I can find home.

.

In the darkness is where I always should be.

Hate and destruction go well with me.

That is why to me you're annoying.

"Now, do you see?" I almost found myself saying.

.

Traces of my mistakes are everywhere,

And "sorry" is not enough of a repair.

Impossible it may to have a second chance,

Yet you embraced everything I am with just one glance.

.

There's a wondrous chaos in me you have caused;

This weakness… I will not show at all cost.

For now, I need to be alone and ponder on what's true,

But I'll leave you a clue by saying, "Thank you."
