angels of sweet sorrow
weep tears of sweet remorse
as the rain falls down
crying from the heavens
blacker then the night
wings beat in the distance
a strange light dances
resisting the dark
but struggles to hold on
the wind blows fierce
and tugs at your dreams
a forbidden love blossoms
ripping another apart
shredded, it blows away
riding the savage wind
that ensnares my senses
and captures my heart
that eternally bleeds
in the shadow of my life.
