AN – One! So. Um. Guess who's writing drabbles again? Answer: er. Me? Anyway. I caught the drabble bug again. I'm going to try and write 100 more drabbles. Updates will be sporadic at best. Ahem. Also, there WILL BE SPOILERS FOR SERIES FOUR IN HERE.
Let me repeat.
THERE WILL BE SPOILERS FOR SERIES FOUR.
If I get even one complaint about people who got spoiled and claim I didn't warn them, I will throw the bitch fit to end all bitch fits.
Arthur feels it in the night. When the sun goes down and Gwen has said good night and Merlin is off for the day. It sinks into his bones, a creeping uncertainty that winds slowly through him, starting at the base of his spine and slithering upwards. When he's alone in his chambers, when the crown is off and there is no King Arthur and he's only Arthur.
He thinks he knows what he's doing, during the day.
But then the darkness comes.
Thinking he knows isn't enough, once the twilight creeps over the castle. It is not nearly enough.
