"We serve only the Tal Shirar," said twenty-five of the new recruits to the spy net. They were going through the mind treatment; designed to engrave into their heads that everyone else was to be considered an enemy. Every one of the new recruits was full of potential and dangerous. They were dangerous to the enemies of the empire, and they were dangerous to the organization; this treatment was to get rid of the second danger.
The chairman was wandering the halls, when an alarm went off. He gasped because he knew that one of the recruits had escaped from the treatment. Any escapee is able to bring down the Tal Shirar, and this one was no different. The guards must stop anyone from escaping at all costs, the chairman thought to himself. He ran down the corridors of the training facility looking for the rogue operative.
Veddek came around a corner and slammed into another Romulan. The apologized to each other and continued running in their opposite directions. Veddek came up on a panel that was showing what the face of the student looked like. It was the person he ran into a couple of corners back. He touched his belt and found his weapon, and communicator gone.
Veddek yelled for the guards and ran for his office. The keycard he had would not open the door. He yelled and screamed for the guards as he pounded on his office's doors. The guards came around and he said that the student took his key and weapon, but the guards would not believe him! He had no evidence, only a keycard that was counterfeit to open the cell doors.
As Veddek got more desperate he resorted to hitting one of his own guards. This, however was a bad move... The guards responded by pointing their guns on him and firing. After a while they came across the real rogue and imprisoned him, but it was too late the rogue had caused the death of the Chairman of the Tal Shirar.
