"How did she found out about your identity?" Haibara Ai asked, sitting on the couch as she held a cup of coffee. It's been a week since Ran found out about their identity. Well, she promised that she'll keep it to herself anyway.
"Miraculously?" Conan said in a joking tone.
"Can't you be more specific?"
"Well, actually…" Conan started.

2 weeks ago, Mouri Detective Agency
That day, the agency was closed. Kogoro went to investigate for a man who thing his wife is cheating on him. It have been peaceful that day, Conan decided to read of his mystery novel collection. It all happened when Ran entered his room.
"Conan-kun, we need to talk…" she said in a low-voice.
"What is it Ran-neechan?"
"It's about your identity" she continued.
Oh no, did she found out that I'm Kudo Shinichi. If those guys in black find out that I'm Kudo Shinichi, Ran and the others will…anyway I need to find a way for Ran to think that she's wrong.
"Conan-kun, the reason that you're named Conan is because your dad loves Conan Doyle, right?"
"Y-yes"
"Conan-kun, you are…Shinichi's son, right?"
"Eh?"
"If you are Shinichi's son everything would fell into place, why in the first place you look like Shinichi, your deduction ability, the reason why Hattori-kun always call you Kudo!"
"W-what are you talking about Ran-neechan? It's impossible that I'm Shinichi-niichan's son!"
"Not onii-chan but otou-san! Now you better admit it Conan-kun, before I call Shinichi to make it sure myself! I also need to know who your mother is to make sure that Shinichi didn't elope with some bad woman"

"If you have to go that far, I've got no choice but to call Shinichi!"

"Shinichi, prepare to die"
"Oh no!"

"I see, that's why you end up in a hospital for 10 days, anyway I'm amazed that you haven't died yet"

"Did you tell her to not tell anyone that you are Kudo Shinichi?"
"Yeah, of course"
