Symmetry

Jackson was adopted.

Roy had a twin brother.

Jackson's parents died during a car crash, leaving him the sole survivor.

Roy lived while his brother died- a twin who was dead as soon as he was born, with the umbilical cord tightly wrapped around his neck.

Jackson was raised in the lap of luxury, with all of his needs and wants met.

Roy struggled with hunger pains, while his mother worked all hours of day and night.

Jackson never doubted the love his parents gave him.

Roy never doubted his mother either.

Jackson was spoilt.

Roy was envious and greedy.

Jackson was a bully.

Roy was a thief.

Jackson was angry when he found out that he was adopted.

Roy was just angry.

Jackson always felt like he was missing something.

Roy did too.

Jackson became obsessed finding a way to escape his mind- even if it means becoming a monster to do it.

Roy became a monster because of a madman's whim and was almost destroyed because of it.

One became a killer against his will. The other sought a way to become a hero.

They are so opposite, and yet the same. That is the nature of twins, isn't it?
