Author's Note: Random drabblet I did. I was thinking about Dekaranger stuff, when I wondered what would happen if Tetsu loses the ability to move his brace throttle hand. After all, that's his sole weapon. Hence, this fic. Enjoy!
They call it a moment of selfless sacrifice, but Tetsu rather called it a moment of folly. This was what happened…
Tetsu was on his usual patrol around the city himself. Suddenly, he heard shrill cries of help, and some sizzling sounds. "Alienizer…" he thought and ran towards the sound.
When he got there, he saw a ghastly looking Alienizer with electrodes as arms. However, there was something else at the scene. Someone else, actually.
"Chief!" Tetsu cried out as he got ready to suit up.
"Careful, Tekkan! This guy is tough! I pursued him all the way to Earth!" Lisa Teagle grimaced as she grappled with the Alienizer, eventually falling to the ground.
Tetsu paid no attention to her words. "Emergency!" he shouted and his suit formed on his body.
Just then, he saw the Alienizer's arms glowing, with dangerous blue sparks travelling down them. He looked like he was going to strike Lisa, who was lying on the ground, trying her best to get up.
It was then where it happened. At that very moment, Tetsu broke into a run, towards the Alienizer. "Chief! Look out!" Tetsu stopped in front of that Alienizer and stuck out his left hand, the hand with the brace throttle.
Immediately, the blue sparks from the Alienizer's electrode arms ran down Tetsu's left arm, spreading down throughout his body. Tetsu's intent was to perform an attack at that moment, but numbness and overpowering pain overtook him and he couldn't bear it.
Tetsu fell to the ground unconscious.
"Tekkan!" Lisa cried. Later, the Dekarangers took care of the Alienizer, while Tetsu was rushed to the Dekaranger hospital.
When Tetsu came to, he could not feel his left arm. He was told that his nerves were affected by that attack, and he would not be able to move it for quite some time.
Tetsu was dumbstruck by this. His left arm was precious to him…he wore the brace throttle on it…the brace throttle performed all his attacks…without his left arm, his whole career as a Tokkyou is ruined…
Tetsu said nothing. Tear just streamed down his face.
