Rebekah was on her way to the floral store, Hayley had asked her to pick up some flowers for her wedding. Elijah and Hayley were engaged, their wedding wasn't that far away, and Rebekah, as the maid of honor, was stuck getting everything needed for the wedding.
'Why am I the one who has to do everything?' Rebekah thought.
A man bumped into her, knocking the coffee out of her hands and into her dress.
"Watch where your going!" She said, looking up at him. She was stunned by the pure handsomeness that stood in front of her. But she wasn't letting him get away that easily. "Do you even know how much this outfit was!?"
"Im sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking," he answered, "I'm Stefan."
"I'm late," she said, pushing him out of her way.
"Your not going to tell me your name?"
"Not until you earn it."
"Than, how about dinner, Saturday night?"
"You would go through a couple hours of dinner, just to get a girls name?"
"Is that bad?"
"I don't think your thinking your plan over very well. How can you expect me to come, when you have no way of reaching me? I won't give you my name, what makes you think I would give you my number?"
"Hope.. Mystic Grill, Saturday night.. Maybe you'll come," he smiled and walked away.
Rebekah stood there, dazed. How could this man, possibly, think she would go?
Rebekah was actually late, she rushed to the store, quickly buying new clothes, and ran to the floral store.
"I'm sorry I'm late, I spilled coffee all over my dress.."
"Don't worry about it. I know you've been busy with the wedding planning, so to make up for it, we are going to the Mystic Grill Saturday night!" Hayley said.
'This couldn't possibly be happening!' Rebekah thought.
"Erm.. I think I'll stay, really, I'm fine with all of the work."
"No your coming! You have to!"
"Fine I'll go, but only for you."
"Thank you.. Erm.. Who else would you be going for?"
"N-nobody!"
Hayley looked at her, confused.
Rebekah smiled awkwardly.
Rebekah and Hayley walked into the grill. Rebekah's eyes suddenly looking for Stefan, but she couldn't find him.
"Me and Elijah are going to get a drink," Hayley said.
Rebekah nodded and Hayley and Elijah walked to the bar.
"You came," someone said from behind her, she recognized the voice. Stefan.
"Not for you, I came for my friend.."
"So you weren't looking for me?"
"I wasn't," she lied.
"Well, let me buy you a drink," they walked to the bar. And got the drinks. "You know you can come sit with me, right?" She followed him to his booth, until she saw a brunette. The girl playfully looked at him, and and put her arm around his shoulder.
'Great! He had a girlfriend!' She couldn't help but feel a little jealous.
She ran back home, not wanting Hayley or Elijah to see her. She couldn't stand looking so vulnerable.
She walked across the street, until a car came racing at her. She screamed...
