1 September
Based off The Living Tombstones song "Septemeber"
I wake up in a pile of smoke and ash, and I don't know what happened. As I start to lift my body from the grass, I notice the hundreds of dead ponies around me. Their corpses burnt and smoking, I see their manes twisted and gone. What could have caused this, I think.
I then notice a sign on the side of a destroyed building left in ruins by whatever did this. It says "Welcome to the 50th annual September Ponyville Carnival, hosted by the users of the elements of harmony."
A quick flash of light changes my world to a nightmare, I see flashes of a male pony, he has a white body, spiky blue mane with red tips, and a lab coat. He sits at a desk with a paranoid grin on his face. He seems to be working with a large spherical object, and a glowing green mass.
"Finally it is done, finally!" He yells. Then there is a yell in the background. It is distorted but audible.
"Stop he is trying to kill us all!" The voice yells as I slowly turn from nightmare. What was that man doing, and why? It seemed so odd. I walk towards a tree house that seems as if I should know something about it. As I enter I see a purple unicorn with a dark and light purple mane laying on the ground. She is dead, but she caries a golden crown with what looks to be her cutie mark in gem form. She lays next to five others with golden necklaces. The are also dead, except for a light blue one with a rainbow mane. I run up to her, she is burnt and dizzy.
"Are you okay?" I ask.
"We tried to stop it! We tried, we failed! Please help me find out what happened!" She says obviously traumatized by her experience.
"Sure, what's your name?" I ask.
"Rainbow Dash, and I already know you!" She says calming down.
"Really, who am I?" I ask. Finally someone who knows me!
"Your Tombstone! You make music with Toaster!"
"Toaster..." The name rings a bell. Then I have another flashback. Wooden sits next to the same male pony. She seems uneasy.
"Why are yo doing this, you don't need to hurt them!" she tells the brony.
"Oh but I do, and their can't be anyone that knows about this!" He says hysterically. He then pulls out a large blade, "Sorry Toaster!" I then flash back before I see the events that carry out.
"Wooden died a couple of days ago, she was found murdered." Rainbow says.
"I know!"
We walk towards a white building with metal bars as windows. It was close to where I woke up. The sign on it says "Laboratory of Ponyville," it has an eerie feeling to it.
"Where the explosion happened!" Dash says. We walk into the dark corridors of the building I look to the side of the enterance. There lays a blade, the same one that killed Toaster. Above it is a mirror, I look into I. A flash back takes me to the brony. He is the same color and shape as last time.
"Don't do it!" a female voice screams!
"Oh everypony, this is your redemption day, you see this red button, im gonna push it!" His face and mane are the exact ones I see as I look into the mirror. I grab the blade and run to Rainbow Dash, I put her in a choke hold.
"Why?" she says struggling for air.
"I know what happened this September, I killed everypony!"
