The DeviantArt Risembool Ranger Group has declared this week Glomp Somebody Week! This is my entry.
The hunter waited in anticipation for his prey to emerge from the other room. He'd been plotting this attack for days, yet his prey evaded his attempts every time. Not this time. He had been too obvious before. He needed to go for stealth. No one predicted him to be stealthy. It was out of character and therefore completely advantageous for him to do so.
His ear quirked at the sound of running water on the other side of the door. His pupil widened, preparing to hunt. He hoped his prey could not see its golden glow when he emerged. He saw shadows at the bottom of the door. He was coming…
The hunter poised himself, ready to pounce. A low growl settled in his throat as he saw his prey begin to enter the room. He waited until his back was to him and he silently leapt out of the shadows and into step behind the ninja.
"Kuro-rin!" he shouted and leapt onto Kurogane's back, latching himself there; arms around his neck and legs around his waist.
Kurogane stopped walking and looked up into Fai's face.
"Have you been waiting for days just to do that?" he asked.
