This story is for my amazing big brother Liam, who practically raised me and made me the person I am today. He is the Bill to my Ginny so I though id honour him the only way I know how.

Based on the night before Liam went to Uni, and I was upset. We were the same ages as Bill and Ginny would have been.

I own nothing

This ones for you Booty, from your Brigadoon.

It was Night-time and I was crying, something I very rarely did. I had come outside to escape my family; they were inside our modest little house saying their goodbyes to my oldest brother. I can't believe he's really leaving, I told myself and wiped the tears from my pale face.

Bill was going to work away in some far off country as a curse breaker for Gringotts, and he was leaving me behind. Fresh tears poured down my freckled face.

"Gin? What you doing out here? Are you crying?" my oldest brother waked out of the back door and jogged towards me.

"Yeah I'm fine Bill." I lied and turned my face away from him.

"You had better not be crying over me." He told me seriously and turned me around so I was facing him.

"No." I lied again but my voice betrayed me and cracked. "I don't want you to go!" I wailed and threw myself into Bills chest. He was only 18. he might get hurt, and then what would I do?

"I know baby. But I'll be back for Christmas though."

"What if you get hurt?" I looked up into his face and asked.

"I wont, you daft git. I promise you I'll be fine." He laughed and ruffled my hair, I hated it when he did that, I'm nine but I'm not a little kid.

"What am I going to do while you're gone?" I had almost stopped crying now at the tough of loosing my secretly favourite brother.

"Well, I'll give you a piece of advice." He pulled up the collar of his black Dragon skin jacket. "When in doubt, ask yourself, what would Bill do?"

"You geek." I laughed and pushed him.

"I'm really going to miss you kiddo." He squeezed me tight.

"I'm going to miss you too. Send me a postcard."

"I will."

We laid down on the grass and looked up in silence for a while, then Bill jumped up and had the most excited took on his face.

"Merlin Ginny Look! A shooting star!" he stood up and pointed to the black sky above us.

"Where? I can't see it." I studied the area Bill was pointing at and could see nothing but what dad had told me to be a Muggle plane.

"It's right there! Where you are looking."

"Bill, that's a plane." I began to laugh at him.

"No, its not!" he protested.

"Yes it is." I laughed at my older brother again.

"Well lets make a wish anyway. Can you make a wish on a plane?"

"I don't know. Can we try anyway?"

"Yeah." Bill started. "Dearest plane, I wish that my awesome little sister gets everything she ever wishes for, Merlin knows she deserves it."

"My turn, my turn," I started and laughed. "Dearest Plane, I wish that my favourite Brother will be safe, happy and loved forever, and marries a really fit girl because I know he really wants me to say that." Bill laughed as I wished and hugged me again.

"Come on R kid. Back inside now."
