This is a oneshot about Haru and Rin as kids.

Rin Sohma was sitting on the ground outside. She was also staring at the sky, a slight smile on her face. She thought about what had just happened.

Haru was wandering around the Inside. Totally aimlessly. He was practically walking in circles. She was watching him. He seemed to be fiddling with something in his pocket. She almost giggled at the serious expression on his face. She walked over to him.

"Hey, Haru." She said, causing him to jump in surprise. He turned around to face her. He seemed to be even more nervous when he saw that it was her.

"Oh. Hey, Rin." He said smiling nervously. "What's up?" she looked at him suspiciously. She could tell she was making him nervous. She just didn't understand why. She leaned towards him.

"What do you have in your pocket?" she asked him. He went pale. He obviously hadn't realized she'd seen him.

"Um.." he said. "Nothing?" it was practically a question. Actually, it was a question.

"Noooo…"she said. "You have something in your pocket. I want to see it. Will you show it to me?" she asked him. She was desperately curious. He fidgeted with the Thing in his pocket.

"Errrr…but…" he said nervously. She frowned. Now she REALLY wanted to see whatever it was. "But what?" she asked. He fidgeted more. "But…there's nothing in my pocket." He told her firmly. She glared.

"There is too something in your pocket. And I want to know what it is." She said. She took a step towards him. "Show me." She ordered. He backed away.

"But Rin, it's a surprise." He told her, sounding pained. She smirked.

"So there is something in your pocket! I knew it! What is it a surprise for?" she asked. He looked nervous. "Well, do you know what day it is?" he asked her. She frowned. Day? Why did that matter? "no." she told him. "What day is it?"

"Well…" he said. "It's White Day." He told her. He blushed a violent red.

"White Day!" she exclaimed, smiling. "It is? Really?" she asked. White Day! I should have known Haru would get me something!

"Um..yeah. So I…er..I got you…." He mumbled, obviously embarrassed. Then he reached into his pocket, and brought out a black ribbon with a dark red heart on it. She smiled warmly at him.

"Oh, it's really pretty! It's for me?" she asked staring at it. He blushed again.

"Yeah. I thought….I would get you something, and….I thought you'd..like it." He mumbled. She took the ribbon and put it in her hair.

"Thank you Haru. It really is pretty." She told him. He smiled at her, relieved that she liked it.

"Your welcome. I mean…you did make me the chocolate..You know, for Valentine's Day. Soo..I thought I'd get you something. Right. Anyway, um…do you wanna go for a walk?" he asked her. She looked at him.

"Sure. Where should we go?" she asked him, still slightly smiling. He smiled at her again. "Come on, let's go to the woods. The ones over by Shigure's house. We haven't been there in ages." He said happily.

"ok." She told him. "Let's go there."

Rin smiled, remembering. She looked over at Haru, asleep next to her. She shook him. "Hey, Haru." She said. He sat up sleepily, looking around. "Oh. I fell asleep?" he asked. She nodded. "You know you could have woken me up." He told her. "I know. But you looked so peaceful." She told him. "So why did you wake me up now?" he asked. "because." She said. "I was thinking. This ribbon is so pretty, I think I need to give you another present." She told him. He frowned. "Like what?" he asked.

"I don't know." She told him. Then she pretended to have an idea. "Oh I know!" she exclaimed. Then she kissed him. He looked stunned.

Then she ran away.

The end! It was just a little cute thingy about Haru and Rin I wrote. So there.
