a/n: this is a poem of sorts. This was sort of written for Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle. This isn't as good as I wanted it to be, but I hope it's still okay. And yes, Turquoise_Lover7, I will write something for Rarity and Fluttershy soon. I guess this just fitted TwiSpark better than Rarity, ya know? Because Rarity fits in pretty well. Anyway, to the story. Normal text will be for TwiSpark, italics will be for Fluttershy, and bold will be for both. No, this is not a 'duet' thing. Just lines that fit the characters most.
They think that I am different
They think that I am lonely
Well, that part is true, at least;
I simply don't fit in
I am weak and I am shy
Always too scared to explore
Shut up in a box, and though I hate it,
I'm afraid to break free
I'll try by best and maybe someday
Someone will lift open the lid
And maybe someday (maybe someday)
Someday I will show them I can shine!
No one ever takes notice of me
But yet I can't bring myself to speak up
I'm always pushed away,
And then I'll secretly dream
Alone, afraid, so lost in the dark
Aspiring is all I can do
Someday, I'll show them I can be a leader;
I'll rise to the challenge!
Somehow, someday, I will break free at last!
Somehow, someday, I'll prove that they were wrong about me!
Somehow, someday, I'll be so much more than them;
Somehow, someday, I will be the brightest shining star!
