Introducing the fabulous:
THE WRITTEN IN A WEEK PROJECT!
Yup. I'm doing this. I've taken such a long break from writing that I need a serious kick in the pants to get my butt moving.
Now, what is the 'Written in a Week' project, you ask? Well. It's exactly what it sounds like: I'm going to write this entire story in one week!
This particular story is one that I posted the first chapter of...ages ago. It's called, "BROTHERS: Autobot Academy." and is about a ridiculous premise that I'm taking entirely seriously. And if you read the first chapter, you'll know what I'm talking about! *Ahem*
Full summery: G1AU: To tell you my story. . .our, story, to catch you up to where I am now, sitting alone under the rain, I have to go back. . .all the way back. Back before the deaths. Back before the training. Back before the war was even a thought. Back before we were drafted into this hell-school. Back before we were "normal". All the way back to the start. When my brother showed up.
Anywho, I want to write this story in such a way that is extremely fast passed, and that I can get through it in a very short amount of time.
Q: "But won't it turn out...well, awful?"
A: Yeah, probably.
Q: "Will you at least have a beta?"
A: I'll certainly look for one! And I won't be 'posting as a write'. I'm going to write the entire story in one week - that's the goal. To have a chapter and a bit written every single to day to have a total of ten chapters that I can send to a beta. What I eventually post will be edited and polished to be actually readable (although no guarantees it'll be any good)
Q: "Is this really necessary?"
A: Honestly, I just thought of it. But I think spending an hour or two every day just writing, not editing, just writing, will really help me get back into the swing of things. And while I have no idea what will happen because of this, I'm real excited to find out. :)
