"She's sick and it's all my fault." Lucius said, his head in his hands. He was sitting on a sofa in the less formal parlor of the manor. His wife, Narcissa, was sick in bed.

"It is not your fault at all." His sister-in-law Bellatrix told him. She stood behind him, her hands holding on to the back of the sofa. "How could you've prevented this?"

"I could have not gone and got her pregnant." He shrugged.

Bellatrix picked up one year old Draco off the sofa where he was asleep, and went back to Lucius. "But if you didn't get her pregnant," she sat down next to Lucius, "you wouldn't have Draco." Narcissa's pregnancy with Draco took a great toll on her health. Bellatrix smiled at Draco, and he smiled back. "Look at him." She turned the baby on her lap to face Lucius. "Cissy getting sick, is definitely worth him. Look at him smile." She tickled his belly and he giggled. Lucius smiled at the sight.

"But I feel selfish. Inflicting pain on my wife, just so I may have a son."

Bellatrix stood up, she rested Draco on her hip. "Don't think that for one minute you are the only one who wanted the child. Cissy and I have talked about having children since we were young. She's been wanting a child forever, don't think that she just did it for you. I was there with her when she each miscarried. If she hadn't wanted a child she would not have been so struck with grief. The look on her face would have broken even Lord Voldemort." Bellatrix said.

Lucius didn't know what to say. If Narcissa hadn't really wanted the baby, she would have been more scared of what Lucius might do to her than sad because the loss of their baby. Lucius took a deep breath in, "Bella, you are right. Maybe another child would make her happy."

"Lucius!" Bellatrix screamed. "You don't need more children to make her happy! That's why she's sick. Her body can't handle it! Sometimes men can be so thick. Love the one you have. Some people aren't even able have the pleasure of bearing a child!" Bellatrix handed Draco to Lucius. She ran he fingers through her hair, breathing heavily, gritting her teeth.

"Y-you Bella?" He whispered.

"Why do you think I don't have any?! I envy you and Cissy. You have a son. A child." Bellatrix was crying. Bellatrix Lestrange had actual tears coming down her face. Not fake manipulative tears that she used to get something she wanted, but honest, sorrow filled, tears going down her cheeks.
