As the current 38th Defender of Earth, Kurtis was never one to beat around the bush. He always spoke exactly what was on his mind. Of course, that didn't mean that he had to, but he did whenever he felt it necessary.

I've loved you ever since we first met all those years ago, but I could never say anything regarding my feelings to you because I was afraid of becoming outed as a homosexual, and did not wish to hurt my wife and daughter by leaving them either. But after everything that's happened, I've found the courage to finally be who I wish to be! So, I'm saying it now and I'll say it once more to make sure you heard me...I LOVE YOU WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING, CAPTAIN GORDON."

The ex-DOE glanced down at the mean-looking green Prinny sitting on his lap. "...I'm sorry, but did you say something, Kurtis? I was totally zoning out just now..."

"....................................................................N-Nothing," Kurtis replied a bit more coldly than intended, a slight blush forming on his cheeks. Gordon shrugged. He never really understood what went on in Kurtis's head sometimes.

However, at that same moment, hiding behind a nearby boulder, Etna, Flonne and Jennifer were nearly exploding with glee. They had overheard everything, and it all boiled down to one conclusion in their minds: boy love.

"Oh my god, did you hear that?!" Etna gushed.

"Yeah! He said he LOVES him!!" Jennifer shrieked.

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!! That's SO cute!!!" Flonne giggled into her hands.

"It's SO hot!!! They make such a cute couple...somehow!!"

"Agreed!!!"

"I really hope they start making out, even if one of them IS a Prinny!!"

"Oh god, that would be the hottest thing ever!!!"

"I LOVE YAOI SO MUCH!!!!"

"I REALLY HOPE MID-BOSS APPEARS AND FLIRTS WITH LAHARL, TOO!!!"

"OH YEAH, I'D TOTALLY HAVE A NOSEBLEED OVER THAT!!!"

"UH-HUH, UH-HUH, I KNOW I DEFINITELY WOULD!!!"

"KAWAII~"

"We gotta draw a doujin outta this!!!"

"Yeah!! That's a great idea!!"

"Let's go do that right now!!!"

"WOO-HOO!!!!"

Laharl, who was watching the girls from afar with a pair of faithful Prinny followers, cringed in total disgust. "Ugh...damn fangirls, always making all the male characters off as gay with every chance they get...just who the hell do they think they are? I am NOT a homosexual, for Seraph's sake!!!"

"They're really scary, dood." remarked one of the Prinnies. The other two Prinnies nodded in agreement.

"A bunch of dirty, perverted creeps, if you ask me..." Mid-Boss added in, giving Laharl's tight ass a nice slap in the process. He was sent flying off into the distance with a well-placed punch a few seconds later, a trail of blood left in his wake.
