She was in p.a.i.n
(So, so much pain)
Because of that stupid, stupid d-r-a-k-o-n,
She was laying on the dirty ground...

She couldn't help but think she d/e/s/e/r/v/e/d it
She was a t~r~a~i~t~o~r;
_the enemy_
And because of her choices, Charlie—her sweet, sweet Charlie—was

She'd k*i*l*l*e*d Charlie.
&& now, she was paying the p/r/i/c/e for betraying her f.r.i.e.n.d.s
[How could she have been so s:t:u:p:i:d?]
She closes her eyes painfully; the end is near.
{So, so near}
Maybe the judges will have *mercy* on her soul;
maybe she'll go to the Fields of Asphodel,
instead of the Fields of Punishment, where she b/e/l/o/n/g/s.
She takes in a painful breath, then whispers, "Forgive me."
_That's all she wishes for._

Clarisse chokes back a sob.
(Strong, stubborn Clarisse, crying for her)
&&she finds herself in even more pain, becoming more tired by the second
[And she can barely hear Clarisse insist, "You're not dying."]
If only that was the

(She was dying.)
She suddenly sees herself l.y.i.n.g on the ground, looking awful,
*and she knows it's almost t:i:m:e for her to die*
Then she sees him.
He's standing right in front of her, smiling brightly, inviting her into his loving arms.
{She wants to be with him so, so badly}
"It's time, Silena," he whispers. "You can let go."
"Charlie..." she croaks.

She can see him right in front of her.
He smiles once more, and she walks towards him, but not before whispering,
"Charlie."
