You can get more info about that on my profile. This poem was inspired by the cover image, which made me think of the immortal Merlin waiting for Arthur's return.

Just Waiting

Waiting, just waiting,

For the shadows to reform.

Waiting, just waiting,

For the end of this storm.

Waiting, just waiting,

To put the pieces back together.

Waiting, just waiting,

For eternity, forever.

The clock is ticking,

The candle melting down,

The hourglass is emptying,

And so is this town.

People moving forward,

Getting on with their lives,

But I am still here...

Waiting, just waiting,

For your triumphant return,

Waiting, just waiting,

For the fire to burn,

Waiting, just waiting,

To see a friendly face,

I am here,

Just waiting.
