Ship: Tony and Pepper
Summary: Tony gets a new cellphone, and needs a picture of Pepper for when she calls. TS/PP
A/N: This one-shot has nothing to do with the fanfic Jealousy. Chapter 3 for Jealousy is currently being written. Anyway, I recently saw a clip from the movie, where Pepper is calling Tony's cellphone, and a photo of her comes up. And so I got to thinking…
Tony had been staring at his new sidekick phone, for possibly an hour. Figuring out all the buttons and accessories, he continued to be sucked in. Phonebook, camera, text messaging, picture messaging, music, videos, voice recorder, games, instant messaging, finally Tony's eyes set on the option of putting a picture with the caller. Turning the phone completely around he smiled and pressed the enter button. He smiled and puffed out his chest at the handsome man, which was himself, smiling back through the screen.
Pepper came through the hallway, accompanied by a thick stack of papers held in her arms. She flipped through the folders to find a document which needed Tony's scribbled signature.
"Mr. Stark, I need you to sign this." Pepper instructed.
"Later, I'm busy." Tony complained, still tapping wildly at the keypad.
"Tony, this contract was supposed to be signed a moth ago, and they're not taking any more excuses." She nagged, holding the paper out for him to sign.
"Hey Pepper; smile." He urged quietly. Pepper gave him a quizzical look, and turned away when she found the camera phone aiming in her direction.
"Oh, now come on Pepper; that's no fun." He pouted.
She gave Tony a small smile when he snapped the picture.
"Gorgeous; I'm keeping this one." He commented pressing a few more buttons and sliding the phone shut. He took the pen from Pepper's outstretched hand, and scratched his name on the paper.
"Now, what is this contract for?" he asked half-heartedly.
"To make sure the college science donation stay at the school for another six months." Pepper replied taking the pen back.
"Is that all that you needed Ms. Potts?" He added.
She nodded her head and turned to walk back to her office. Tony watched her leave, and looked back down at the cell phone. Tony began smiling at Pepper's bright face in the photo.
"Why isn't she a model?" Tony whispered to himself.
