From Water To you

The water felt different that day, Haru thought. Neither of the others seemed to notice it, but it was different, and Nanase Haruka should know; he spent most of his time around it.

Okay, most people thought he was crazy because of it, but why was it wrong to love something so much that you couldn't stay away from it? Haru regretted nothing; he would rather spend his day in the pool than anywhere else.

The pool was empty, only him and that's how he liked the most, just to appreciate the feeling. The dark haired boy took his swimming goggles, leaving them hanging on his neck, and shook his hair to dry it a little.

"Are you... Nanase Haruka-sama?" A sweet voice came from behind him and the boy turned around fast and confused to who was there.

He couldn't believe in what he was seeing: there was a girl; he could see it was a girl: her hair reached under her shoulders, her eyes looked cat-a-like and if he looked down a little more, she would see the two very big indicators that she was indeed a girl. The problem was that… she was somewhat transparent. Apparently, she was… no, it wasn't possible.

"Are you... made of water?" He asked more intrigued than scared.

"In here, yes." The girl smiled. "Water Mages have the power to hear the water, Haruka-sama. Water can't talk on its own, so we transmit the message." Haru tried to touch her face, and when it did, it was only water and his hand was withdrawn, but he tried again; Nanase Haruka was not afraid of water. With caution, he touched her face for a moment before taking his hand away; he didn't care much for physical contact with anyone. "And... the water from around here pulls me from my world to give you a message."

"What message?" The boy was mesmerized with the sight in front of him: a girl made or water. Water!

"You love water." She leaned closer to him, whispering the words and he leaned in too to hear better. "The message is to let you know that water loves you too."

Haru frowned and then gave one of his rare smiles. "I... I am happy to hear that."

"Time to go, my world is calling me back. The message is delivered." Water Girl said and was about to dive in the pool, when Haru spoke again.

"What's your name?"

"Juvia. It's an old word for rain." She started to dive back in.

"I... I like the rain too."

"Thank you." The water girl smiled softly. "Good-bye, Haruka-sama."

"HARU!" A very recognizable voice echoed through his mind and his light blue eyes snapped open. Apparently he fell asleep in the pool once again.

"There was a girl... she was made of water..." Haru looked around and mumbled while his friends dragged him out of the pool.

Makoto groaned while Nagisa started to try to get his clothes off to search for the mysterious Water Girl. "Nagisa, no! And Haru, there are no girls made of water. If there were, I am sure you would not leave her side. Now get up and let's go eat before you turn into a fish."

Haru nodded, he dreamt about it, huh? Well... Even if it was a product of his imagination, he did enjoy the rain. And somehow he knew that after that day, he would appreciate it even more.
