Well, I'm back. If you're wondering about my other story, I looked at it again, and well, I'm just gonna say is how my past self didn't catch what was going on in my head. I also had writer's block on it for 2 months. Yeah... I'm gonna try to make a rewrite and get it all jazzed up. In the time I had the writer's block, this was coming to my head. So I decided to make it. Hope you enjoy. Reviews are especially helpful and can help the story improve a lot.

Disclaimer: I do not own Pokémon. So, don't sue me.

The last half of my final year at Pokémon School. I've been waiting for so long. It's felt like forever probably because I found out I wasn't allowed to become a Pokémon Trainer when I wanted to.

The minimum age required to start your journey is 14 but I'm 16 now. You have the option of leaving after your eighth year to become a trainer. I wanted to, but my parents forced me to continue school and get the National Pokémon School Diploma instead of the regular one they give you in your eighth year. Normally, you're supposed to fully graduate at 18, but I skipped my third and sixth year of school to graduate at 16. I could've started at 12 years old, but my parents have a word in everything I do.

I was fine in school until the second half of my second year. Those Arceus damn bullies. They have their own pokémon even though they're technically, by law, not supposed to have them. Last time, I got caught by my parents while taking a sick Eevee to the Pokémon Center. Now they don't want me near Pokémon at all and want me to become a full-time scholar, then go to law school, minor in music, and… well, you don't want to hear me ramble on about my fully planned out life by my parents.

Point is, after graduation, I'm done. I'm leaving everything behind me and going out on my own on a journey. Is it worth it to leave the good side of my family and friends behind? Maybe not. But is it worth to escape those Arceus damn bullies, a shitload of homework, and the inevitable future by my parents? Hell yeah. Now, I would normally recommend staying in school, but seeing as I'm a fictional character making an unfunny fourth wall break, I don't see why not.

"Now is not the time to use that reference," I hear Oak's words ringing in my head.

"How and why did that just happen…?" I mutter to myself.

Even though I'm not really that smart by my standards or more like my parents' standards, I get good grades. Although I procrastinate the crap out of everything, I don't have many friends at all, I'm shy and I get picked on by others. I love life. At least in five months, this will all blow over. I just have to wait for my time to come.

"Oh, how I LOVE coming back to school freezing my ass off while having stacks of homework to do" I sarcastically holler to my friend Ian.

"Can't the teachers ever give us a break?" Ian complained.

"They hate how all the kids sit in the back throw spitballs at them. So instead of punishing them, it a 'one for all and all for one' moment."

"You know that they are meant for you, Adam."

"Meh. I'm fine with it as long as you're not involved. Problem is, I have spit dripping down my back all the time."

We get more into our conversation when I notice the "Let's Torture Adam" group.

"Ian, take my lunch money or else because they're coming" I blurt as fast as I can.

"Quick, give me the money and I'll sprint off. Then I'll give it back during lunch" Ian replies.

If you don't know already, the group is the bullies. They just absolutely love picking on me just because I'm younger and very shy around people I don't know. Ian used to be part of them, but broke off and soon eventually became my best friend. To this day, I still don't know why he would want to be friends with someone like me but I'm not complaining.

"Alright, Adam. Are you ready for your daily 'routine'?" one of the bullies asked.

"Come on guys. Don't you think it's time for you to move on to other people? Aren't you tired of picking on me?" I reply.

"We aren't tired. We still have the energy to go through the day" another bully responds.

"I've been putting up you guys for eight years. Don't you think it about time you all try people who are your sizes?" I murmur. I'm about ready to snap and let all hell break loose.

"He finally makes a stand. You deserve an applause. And your reward is being thrown into the dumpster outside of the gym. Go guys" the head of the bullies laughed.

I can't take them all on at the same time but I can try. I attempt to throw a punch but the bullies put me in an armbar.

"You can do this the easy way or the hard way," the leader said in a spine-chilling way.

"I give in Harold. You win" I sigh.

"Now that's what I like to hear. Onwards boys" Harold commanded.

I seriously wonder why the school hasn't done anything to them. I constantly tell the Dean that they're a bunch of no good scumbags, although not in those exact words, he does absolutely nothing. But last time when I finally made a stand for myself and tried to defend from their punches, they get scot-free while I get fucking suspended. Do they have a lawyer, rich parents, or whatever, because they never get in trouble.

"Just five more months of this shit" I constantly repeat in my mind.

While in my state of concentration, I was flung into the dumpster. I get out of my trance and hear them running off laughing. I seriously wish that Karma would strike them ONCE! I have yet to see anything bad happen to them. What the hell did I do to deserve this crap? Being brought up poor, having no one but my younger brother to rely upon during my childhood, and having my parents basically control my life, it isn't fun. I manage somehow but this is the first day back from break and I get treated like garbage. Literally.

I get out and go to the locker room. The only teacher who seems to care is my old P.E. teacher Mr. Johnson. He lets me hang out in his office and use the locker room when all the ninth and tenth years are doing something in the gym or the field. I'm glad I always have his spare key to the locker room to get cleaned up.

After regrouping myself, I came late to my first period of the day. I was hoping that there was a sub there so that way I can use my fake pass but I have no luck. I sit down late, write an essay explaining why I was late, do all the work I missed while I was being trash, catch up on where we are in class, all while sitting next to two of the bullies from the group.

If you're wondering who the two are, I call them Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Dee is Luke and Dum is Harold. You already know about Harold but Luke is the strongest out of the group. Hell, he beat a Machamp in an arm-wrestling event. No joke. I applaud him for his strength but everything else is a big fat no.

As I'm catching up, they start flicking my ear, throwing spitballs, and giving me Wet Willies. If only I could do the things in my head to them. Too bad they're all illegal.

This and another two periods go by and it's finally time for lunch. I meet up with Ian by the locker room and he gives back my money.

We go to get lunch together and meet up with the rest of the group. At the table, we meet up with Tommy, Mikayla, Sebastian, Emily, and my younger brother Zach. I'm serious when I say Mr. Johnson and the group are the only people I know and give a shit about in my entire school.

First up is my best friend Ian. We became friends about six years ago. He's tall and strong which explains why he's a star player on the basketball team. Next, we have Tommy. He's an interesting guy. He's smart but he doesn't think before he speaks and he's oblivious to things. We've gotten used to him being that way. Mikayla is outgoing and very talkative, but she can be a drama queen. Sebastian is small and quiet, but he is pretty dang smart. He takes all AP and college classes. We invited him to the group a while back and he's stuck since. I'm guessing he's happy that he has people surrounding him that accept him for who he is. Emily is Ian's girlfriend. She's also athletic like Ian. She's the main striker on the soccer team. Unfortunately, for the group, those two can't be separated once they come in contact with each other. Then there's me. Nothing special. I haven't done anything in my life and probably nothing will happen.

Eventually, it's time to go home and make my usual trek back home. Everyone had to stay behind so it was quiet on the way back.

Since no one was around, I released my secret pokémon and decided to train it. We always had to train when no one was around which is why it was still a Caterpie. It also doesn't help when the only time we battle a pokémon is either weak Rattatas or Joey (who also has a weak Rattata). I started training my Caterpie since the beginning of this school year. I wish that Caterpie was easier to train because I would like to have a Metapod. Although, I'm not complaining. I'm just gonna stick with the routine.

After training, I get back home, get my homework done, listen to my parent's Arceus awful speech about why I have to further my education and go to bed afterward.

"Can I just take a little break for once in my damn life?" I mutter myself to sleep.

6 days later

"Mom, I'm going to study at Ian's house!" I yell across the house.

"Be back by six for dinner" she hollers back.

I leave for Ian's house and about thirty minutes later I arrive.

"About time you showed up. Where were you?" Ian complains.

"Oh, I met someone along the way here" I reply.

"Who was it?"

"Do you know the 8th year who's the star of the basketball team and the baseball team who's moving to Alola?"

"You don't mean—"

"Yes, yes I do."

"How did you even get near him?

25 minutes earlier

"I should be there in another 5 minutes," I think to myself. Then I let out Caterpie seeing as it hasn't been out of its pokéball in a while.

"Pieeeee" it exulted as it tackles me to the ground.

"Arceus, how are you this strong and haven't evolved yet?" I question.

I then turn my attention to a stranger who's looking at me from a distance.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"Aren't you not supposed to have a pokémon yet?" he responds.

"Got me there. I guess my baby face gave it away. The name's Adam."

"Yeah, nice to meet you, Adam."

"Wait a minute, aren't you the top player of our basketball and baseball team?!" I anxiously say realizing who it is.

"Yeah, and please call me Sun" he answered while rubbing his hand on the back of his neck.

There's an awkward moment between us when I stop the silence.

"Say, aren't you moving to Alola this summer?" I ask.

"Yeah" he replies.

"Mind if I go with ya? I can show you some of the basics on how to raise a pokémon" I answer.

"Really?!" he gleams.

"Yeah, come on. I'll show ya in the forest."

Back to present

I just tell him our conversation leaving out the part about Caterpie and teaching Sun about Pokémon.

"So now your friends with the most popular eighth year in school?!" Ian's jaw drops.

"Yep, and he's actually a pretty chill dude" I answer.

"Come on, let's go study for that test we have in government on Monday."

"Alright."

Author's Note

Sorry if the ending felt like it was rushed. Just kind of slapped the ending together. When I'm not busy with school I'll get to it.

Anyways, I hoped you guys enjoyed. Can you guys give me your opinion on the story? It would really help and it would also let me know what I need to improve on. I much rather do this than English (aka Language Arts or whatever for anyone who isn't in America).

Have a great day ~ Bad Luck Andrew

P.S. If you're not, I don't care. Just accept the dang phrase.
