Chapter: First Time

A/N: Hi, Tsukiyozaki here. This is my first fanfiction, so please be kind to me! Also english is not my first language so please inform me if I made some mistakes.

In the midst of the busy road of Shibuya, stood a boy. He wore a blue and white shirt turtleneck shirt, a hoodie with long rabbit-like ears, blue trousers, and dark navy sneakers. His black hair was messy and earphones plugged to his ears. He stared blankly at the scenery before him.

"Hibiki! Sorry for the wait!" A brown eyed brunette ran to him. He wore a gray school uniform with black chemise collar shirt with blue and white stripe tie, yellow scarf, and yellow shoes. A grin plastered on his face.

"There you are. What took you so long, Daichi?" Hibiki gave his brunette friend a smile.

"Well, the test was very, very hard! I think I will fail it!" Daichi shouted dramatically. His hands clenching his hair in frustration. "Arghhh….Let's leave that aside and go to a café near the station.

The café was quite small and had a calm atmosphere. They walked to a seat next to the window. A waiter took up their order and arrived back with two cups of coffee. Unlike Daichi who put a few cubes of sugar, Hibiki poured some milk and many cubes of sugar.

"Hibiki, I've got something to show you!" Daichi pulled out his phone and showed it to Hibiki. There was a word in it.

"Nicaea…" Hibiki muttered. " So, what is it?"

"Hehehe! You won't expect it! This nicaea app has gone viral. It shows your death clip!" Hibiki showed no expression. He showed no interest at all.

"Sorry, Daichi. I don't mean to be rude but those type oof apps are fakes. How can it predict your death. It's just too hard to comprehend."

"It R-E-A-L! I'll show you the moment I got a message from it!" Daichi's eyes were filled with determination.

"Yeah, yeah…" Hibiki pretended to ignore him by looking at the other side while humming.

"Hmphhh….I'll definitely prove it to you!" Hibiki chuckled lightly seeing his best friend's reaction.

Hibiki finished his coffee asked for the bill. Soon afterward, the same waiter came and Hibiki payed him.

"Daichi, have you finished your coffee?"

"Of course I have finished it!" Daichi grumbled. "Let's just head to the arcade…"

Both of them spent their day in Shibuya playing in the arcade until the sun had set. Hibiki dragged Daichi to the station or he wouldn't stop playing.

Inside the station, a brunette girl stood while reading a book. She wore standard gray school uniform with a blue and white ribbon bow tie, a black mini skirt, black medium length socks and brown shoes.

"T-That's Nitta-san…!" Daichi gasped in surprise.

"You know her?"

"…You don't know about her? She's the most popular girl in our school! She's smart, kind, and most of all, pretty!" Daichi smiled dreamily. "I wish I can be friend with her!"

"I'll help you then…" Hibiki excused himself and walked to the girl. "Io Nitta-san?"

"A-Ah, hi. Is there anything wrong?" The girl lowered down the book she was reading. Her face full of confusion.

"I'm very sorry to disturb you. My name is Kuze Hibiki. The person over there…" Hibiki pointed Daichi with his index finger. "…is Shijima Daichi, my best friend. I heard that you are very popular in the school."

"Umm… Thanks I guess." Nitta's face turned beet red. Hibiki chuckled lightly while Daichi ssimply stared at her in daze.

"Daichi?" The said boy didn't answer. "Daichi? Daichi! D-A-I-C-H-I!" Hibiki called out until he got annoyed and whispered something to him.

"U-Uwahhh… Please don't do that!"

"Glad to see you back to reality. Now, introduce yourself to Io-san here."

"N-Nice to meet you, N-Nitta-san! My name is Shijima Daichi!" Daichi introduced himself clumsily.

"Hi, my name is Io Nitta. It is nice to meet you too!" Hibiki smirked at his best friend.

"I see…" Hibiki proceeded to whisper to Daichi, "You like her, huh?"

"…." Daichi's face was as red as a tomato. "Don't tell anyone!"

Hibiki laughed wholeheartedly.

*RING*

Daichi and Io's phones rang, destroyeing the cozy atmosphere. They picked up their phone and saw the notification.

"Uwohhh… It's the 'Nicaea' application!" Daichi shouted in excitement.

"Eh? So Shijima-kun also has it. Everyone in my class is using it so I decided to install it. How about you, Kuze-kun?"

"I didn't install it. It sounded weird and seems suspicious to me." Hibiki explained bluntly.

"You don't have to be that harsh. Let's just see the clip that we received," Daichi pressed the play button and regret it immediately. The clip has just showed the station they were in. There were the three of them waiting for the train to arrive. Suddenly, a loud noise was heard. It sounded like something at high speed had just collided with something. The next moment, the train arrived and crashed to the wall then fell onto them.

"N-No w-way…. This can't be real, right?" Daichi laughed nervously.

"I think we should leave this station. I have a bad feeling about this…" Hibiki suggested. "If the clip is right, we can avoid the accident."

"You believe this clip? You're the one who said that it will probably be a fake! Hahaha, So even the calm Hibiki is scared!" Daichi burst laughing.

"There's no way they are true. It's only an app." Nitta said, agreeing with Daichi.

"Fine…"

Out of nowhere, a very loud sound could be heard in the station. The three of them paled.

"Oh no…" Wasting no time, the train bumped and crashed the station and all people inside it.

'Thank you for using the 'Nicaea' application! It is too bad that you have to die. Then, do you still want to live?'

Daichi and Nitta looked at the message on their phone. Both of them immediately push the live button, wanting to live. The app sent them another message:

'Well option! 'The demon summoning application' will be installed in your phone. Good luck and Let's SURVIVE!'

Slowly, Daichi got out from the piles of broken walls. "…..I'm.. Alive… No way! I have to find Hibiki and Nitta-san."

Daichi ran around, searching for his friends. Yet, all he saw were broken glass, piles of walls, and the crashed train. However after looking around more carefully, he saw a hand coming out.

"Uwahhhh! What is that? Someone, save me! The pitiful soul of the hand's owner is going to kill me!" He shut his eyes, afraid to see what will happen. Meanwhile the hand pushed some piles, making a space.

"Oh, hi Shijima-kun. Why are you so scared? It's only me." Nitta got out from the space. Daichi opened his eyes blinked a few times, then sighed in relieve. "Let's find Kuze-kun."

Both of them started to search for him. They checked every spot and didn't find him. Daichi looked down,"C-could it be… Hibiki is…"

Nitta slapped Daichi's face, "Sorry…I didn't mean to do it. I believe Kuze-kun is alive. Maybe he's still unconscious or something like that. We must not give up that easily!"

"…You're right! We should continue!" Daichi's face brighten immediately. He said a quick thank to Nitta.

*DRAP* *DRAP*

"Huh, what is that voice?" Daichi ask nervously. They stopped and saw a woman and some police-like person. The woman had short dark blue-gray hair, and matching color eyes. She wore a uniform with a bright yellow miniskirt, black tights, and thigh high white boots.

"Hey! The two of you! Come here! It's safe now!" She shouted from afar.

Nitta clutched Daichi's sleeve and told him, "I think we should ask her about Hibiki. She might help us." Daichi nodded and both of them walked to the woman.

"Are you two the only survivor?" The woman asked us.

Nitta spoke to her worriedly, "Well, we have another friend. We were looking for him. Can you help us?"

"We'll help you. But, can you come with me outside first while the officers are looking for him? I have something to ask to both of you." Daichi and Nitta looked at each other and nodded in reply.

As the two of them came out from the station, the woman took them to a car. She introduced herself, "My name is Sako Makoto. Nice to meet you."

"Shijima Daichi and Io Nitta. Nice to meet you too." Daichi introduced Nitta and himself.

Makoto started to question them, "So, how did you two survive from the train?" Shock and unbelieving expression could be seen from Daichi and Nitta's faces.

"W-what d-do you m-mean?" Daichi stuttered out.

Makoto glared them and explained them, "Judging from the the situation you are in, it is impossible to remain alive after the incident. The train should have wrecked all of you. It can be seen by how the train wreckage is all over the station."

They gulped. "By the chance did you have a weird application in your phone?" They nodded and showed her the demon summoning app. "I see. Would you come with me?"

"We'll come when we've found Hibiki." Nitta said with determined eyes. Daichi nodding along side with her.

As she said that, another officer came in and gave her a report. Makoto read it and took a glance at them. She looked at them sadly, "Sorry, but there's no one but corpses in the station." Nitta started to cry while Daichi comforted her with pain on his face.

"We'll come with you." Daichi told her while comforting Nitta.

Meanwhile~

Hibiki opened his eyes and tried to move. But… his action seemed to be in vain. The train wreckage had fallen upon his body. He pushed the wreckage with a greater strength and managed to get away from it. "What had happened here? Daichi? Io-san?"

He scanned his surrounding and saw weird creatures. "What are those?" They seemed want to attack him. Feeling a sense of danger, Hibiki tried to run but his legs won't move.

He looked at his left leg and realized broken glasses pierced on it. He checked all part of his body and found out that he had a broken rib, heavy cut on his right arm and legs and finally, some small bruise all over his body.

'What, what should I do? They are coming. Am I going to die now?' he thought to himself. He closed his eyes in despair and anxious. The blood from his right arm spilled. He opened his eyes and saw a weird circle around him. "W-what is this?" The circle shone brightly and he shut his eyes.

As the light disappeared, Hibiki opened his eyes once again and saw a big white tiger. 'Huh, what is that tiger doing in a place like this? Did it just let out a spark of lightning? Why does it look familiar somehow?'

"….Byakko…" He found himself muttering the tiger roared loudly making the enemy ran then looked at him.

Byakko walked to him and licked his wound. Out of nowhere, an angel appeared in front of him. Hibiki was mesmerized by the angel's appearance. Slowly, the angel extended his hand. A small comforting light shone from it.

Hibiki checked his wounds and found that they were being healed. However, he felt as if energy was going away from his body. He stared at the angel who gave him a small smile for the last time then drifted away to unconsiousness.
