It was too much to say that Zero Kiryuu hated doing patrols. He did, but knew the importance of his duty so h couldn't really hate it. No, there was another reason why the silver haired prefect was currently being pissed off at his job.

"Good evening, Zero"

He sighed, this is the reason why he has been having headaches for the past evenings. Seriously, he didn't even feel like pulling out his Bloody rose for this person anymore.

Instead he fixed the man a gaze "Kuran-sempai" he growled.

The brunette smiled widely and came into his full view "Why, this is new, you aren't pointing Blood rose at me anymore"

Zero resisted the weird and sudden urge to blush, crossing his arms. "Seriously it's not even worth the effort" he muttered.

"Does that mean you're willing to accept me now?"

"You can keep dreaming"

"Ah, but I am dreaming, always…you wanna know what it's about?" a sly grin dawned itself on Kaname's face, walking towards the hunter now.

Struggling to look unaffected, he merely growled at the pureblood "Stop messing with me Kuran-sempai" he breathed, trying to sound sarcastic.

"Oh Zero, Did you know I love it when you call me sempai?"

This time the prefect really did blush, but he wasn't going to fall for the bastard's trick that easily. "Shut up, and who told you you can call me by my name?"

"I've been calling you Zero for a while now, I haven't heard any complains before" Kaname smiled.

Zero stared,… crap! Did he really? I've only just noticed! He scowled, looking away "Tch, whatever. Nobody told you to do that"

"I know, I wanted to"

Okay, this is starting to be awkward. Zero took a deep breath, he wanted to get this over with already "So, what is it this time?" he asked.

The dorm leader looked confused for a while "What do you mean, Zero?"

He ignored the way the man calls his name "Aren't you going to ask me something utterly pointless? like how you asked how tadpole grows last night? Or if the moon has another moon? Or things even more weirder before that?" realizing he had said too much he stopped.

Kaname stared at him, blushing slightly "Were they really that pointless?" then noticing something he smiled "But you remembered them all Zero, despite them being worthless"

Zero's cheeks reddened "Don't be stupid Kuran! Of course I'd remember! I'm no stupid!"

"Of course not"

He tried to glare at Kaname without success "So the pointless query for tonight is?"

The brunette looked thoughtful "Hmnn"

"Spit it out"

"Well, I could, but my concern is you pulling out Bloody rose and shooting me suddenly"

he rolled his eyes "That depends on you… now ask"

"Rather than asking though-" using his vampiric speed, Kaname Kuran had done what no one ever dared done before.

He kissed Zero Kiryuu.

Keeping his reflexes intact expecting Zero to push him away with his gun pointing at his face, Kaname was indeed surprised when he found the hunter responding to his kiss.

He wasn't dreaming, was he?

A deeply blushing Zero faced him, though not meeting his eyes "Took you long enough Bastard"

Kaname froze for a second, but he chuckled as he pulled the boy closer "Then my questions weren't so pointless then?"

"Shut up, Kuran"

He smiled and pressed another soft kiss on those lips "I love you too, Zero"
