Heavy prank
"It was just a prank" Matsumoto exclaimed, exasperated "I mean, nobody gets angry for a kiss, you know?"
Her words were quickly expelled from her mouth and remained in the air.
"Well, except for him" said Hinamori, trying to calm her as much as you can calm Matsumoto when she's in that mood "You know him. Heavy pranks are not for him"
Matsumoto sighed, and then stopped, choked with her own words, realizing that Hinamori was not understanding.
"Heavy?(finally said) Oh, gosh! Since when one of my kisses is heavy prank? I kiss everyone! Is not personal, isn't it? " She yelled a bit, with the strong belief of how scandalously was his dear friend and the rest of the world.
"Well, you kissed him in the lips" Hinamori emphazised "Is scandalous since is your captain, Rangiku, the people will talk."
"Let them talk, those fools" she declared, moving her hands with energy and almost hitting her friend by accident.
"I haven't finished !" Momo scolded her with the tone that was so familiar to Rangiku " You almost kill him by surprise!"
Momo was telling her a partial truth, that comes to be a lying, after all. When Rangiku left the room with airy strides, Toshiro just focused his eyes and took a deep breath (refusing to shout Matsumoto, maybe?) with his recently kissed lips and asked her if she needed something. Of course she wasn't that calm (to the point where she placed the shock on him) She said "No, nothing!" And ran away.
"Bah" Rangiku denied "The people will forgot everything! And he is ok, I'm sure! He is a tough boy"
Obviously, she didn't though it was important enough to worry. She was in a good mood, and that made Hinamori throw a worried glance before stopping at her barracks, where captain Hirako was calling her loudly.
"Sorry, Rangiku. I want to talk more about that, but I have to do my work, too. "
"BUT—" Rangiku frowned. Hinamori wasn't very available lately and she wanted to have some company.
" I enjoyed our talk, Rangiku. See you later!"
And she ran into the squad. Rangiku couldn't stop Hinamori with her weak "Wait" so she remained outside the squad with nothing to do. (Somehow coming back to the office looked pretty dangerous)
Summary: Matsumoto was bored and now alone.
"What do I do now?" she said to nobody, her words drifted in the wind. "Definitely, not the office, at least for today"
"Why not?" a voice asked right behind her "Go back the office right now and finish your work!"
"Ca-captain! You are here!"
He gave her the "Obviously" look. ( He was standing there, serious, cross armed and grumpy, like always)
The shock was so genuine that her heart was almost catapulted from her breasts. (And she still had gosebumps)
"Go back. I'll be there in a second" he said, totally serious and then proceeded to walk away.
Not very convinced, (and waiting to be yelled) she said a light "Ok" and waited until he was away.
"You didn't yelled at me" she said, the first question in her mind.
He stopped.
"Actually, you're not mad either. You look relaxed"
"And " he said, turning around "You're anxious, with too many questions"
"I have a lot more. I mean, why? I didn't expected you to be that calm"
"Me neither" he smirked "But that's it"
Suddenly, she smiled. Her eyes were shinning with a new feeling.
"Oh, well" she exclaimed, with a loud and clear voice "Since you're not surprised, I'll do it until that happens!"
He smiled back, but she couldn't see it, because he turned his face on purpose.
"It will be hard. So good luck"
Rangiku giggled, happily.
"Is always a pleasure"
