I expect everything to already be known.

Nana screamed in the bathroom stall, Peach (who was applying her makeup) quickly ran to the stall and opened it. (Yes I know the door's supposed to be locked but I just want you to bear with it) "What's wrong?" asked Peach.

"T-T-There's blood in my underwear and in my pee!" answered Nana.

"Ohhh, I get it. Meet me at my dorm when you're done and don't forget to bring an extra pair of underwear, ok? Also don't worry about it, it's quite natural." Said Peach and she smiled and walked out.

After Nana calmed herself down she went to her room to get an extra pair of undies and ran to Peach's room.

"Peach?"

"Oh!", exclaimed peach as she opened her door, "good, good, ok, sit down."

"Can you explain it?"

"Sure, here have a cup of tea first."

As nana drank some sakura tea peach ran into her perfume-y bathroom and got a box full of something.

"Congrats nana, you're now a woman."

Nana looked at peach questionably.

"You see when you get blood in your underwear that just means that you are a growing girl and are ready to have children. This is called a period. I'll explain that part about children some other day though, when you're older."

Peach took a pad out of her box.

"Now, when you have period you can use one of these pads. You take this sticky paper of, hand me your under wear, and stick this side to the bottom of your underwear. Then you take one wing of the pad out and stick it down… do the same to the other… and you're done! Simple as that. When you have your period remember to change often and not to flush the pad down the toilet, Mario's having a tough time already. There, now go into my bathroom and change!"

When nana got out she said, "it feels a bit weird."

"that's normal. Now a few tips, don't eat or drink a lot of cold stuff unless you want it to hurt, and if it does then use a hot water bottle. Ok, run along now, come back to pick up a pad or two and if you have and questions, just ask me."

And that's how pads work.
