Highschool AU Snippet KaMa

It's not actually his fault when the whole thing just kind of explodes. Well it is, but it isn't. Max warned Mr. Carver that he wasn't good with chemicals, but no he just had to make him do it. So when the science experiment blows up, he get's blamed for it. He gets sent to the principles office, and the way Mr. Harper stares at him makes him squirm. He supposes it has to do with the broken water fountain that they found that morning.
He got blamed for that one too, which Max thought was completely unfair. Sure, technically he was the one who smashed into it on his skateboard, but it wasn't like he was the only one. It could also be the broken vending machine in the hallway too. That one wasn't his fault either. He wouldn't have had to hit it so many times if it just gave him the Tutti Fruities that he paid for.
"Max, you've been getting into a lot of trouble lately." Says Mr. Harper. And Max sighs, because this is the third time that week that he's been told the same thing.
"Look, Mr. Harper, I know what it looks like. But I swear I' m not intentionally ruining everything." He only raises his eyebrow.
"And what about that broken table that Ms. Ssadab found when she caught you and Kai Hiwatari skipping class together yesterday?" And Max stays shut after that and sinks down in his chair.
Because that, yeah that was his fault.
So I guess this would be classified as a Highschool AU type of story. It's just a short little scene that I wrote when I was free writing, so… I guess it could be a little confusing but I don't know. Anyway, I hope at least someone liked it.
