My One True Love
Snow could already hear the little footsteps on the floor. The laughter and happiness of her future daughter. She pictured it just for herself. Snow smiled. It couldn't be more perfect. She was married to her one true love and she was expecting. Actually she couldn't hope for more.
On the day of her wedding a friend said to her:" A whole lifetime is waiting for you. May you be filled with loving kindness. May you be well. May you be peaceful and at ease. May you be happy. May your days be full of joy. May your dreams come true and may all your troubles be little ones."
A dreamy smile was on her lips as Charming entered the room.
His eyes brightened as he saw her. Charming bent down and kissed her passionately.
She looked surprised. "For what was that, Charming?" Snow couldn't help laughing. She loved teasing him.
"Well, my dear that was for the most beautiful and kindest wife a man could dream of." He took her hand and gave it a peck.
She loved him dearly. Actually she couldn't describe how much she did. This feeling when he was around her, when he kissed her, when he touched her. There were no words. Not a single one. When he was with her it always felt like flying. He was the love of her life. She couldn't be a second without him anymore. They were separated too often.
"I love you,Charming" she said and looked at him lovingly. "I couldn't stand losing you or our baby."
Charming stroke her hair affectionately. "This will never happen." He answered passionately. No one would ever hurt his family.
Snow nodded and took a deep breath. She wasn't so sure about that anymore. Regina's words were etched on her memory. She couldn't forget about it. Her hands started shaking and a shiver ran down her spine.
"What if she would do it?" Snow asked herself. She choked back her tears.
"What is wrong with you, darling?" asked Charming. He was really worried about her. Since Regina nearly ruined her wedding she was different.
"Nothing" Snow replied and tried to smile. She didn't want to bother him with her fears again.
"It's because of Regina, isn't it?" he asked again.
Snow just nodded.
He concluded by saying: "Whatever happens. You will always find me and I will always find you. Remember that good always defeats evil".
Charming hold her tight and kissed her very gently on the forehead. No one would ever hurt his little family. His world. He would defend them to the last breath. Protecting his one true love, being an amazing husband & father was his purpose in life. Love conquers all.
He kissed her again passionately and Snow's heart skipped a beat.
"Don't worry my dear. We will be together always and evermore. No matter what happens now. We're meant to be together. No one can tear us apart. Have faith, Snow" Charming said and smiled.
"While there's life, there's hope." she said.
She took his hand. "You're my everything. My light in the darkest nights. My tower of strength. Being with you is like heaven on earth." Her eyes shined.
"Oh, Snow" Charming said and kissed her. "I will always be here."
But things never turn out the way you expected.
