Greg was a shy kid who only wanted to pass Middle School while having fun. Unfortunately things don't always go as planned. This is the incredible story of two people together forming an unbreakable bond, unprecedented in any form before it. This is the story of Gregfield.

Susan Heffley: Damn it Frank! Are you playing with your stupid little toys in the basement again?

Frank Heffley: They're not toys Susan! They are strategically laid out in a battlefield position! They're a HOBBY!

Susan: Come on Frank, you could've spent that money on Greg! Because you do not spend your money wisely, we can't afford to keep our children around! Look what happened to Rodrick! He was a fine kid, until you started your collection on your dumb little toys. Now look where Rodrick is! He's a drug addict living on the street! The only person Greg can hang out with now is Rowley!

Frank: I said before Susan! They're not toys! They're god-damn figurines. If you don't respect my hobbies than I won't respect you!

Susan: Do you want me to get my lawyers on the line! We could file a divorce right now!

Frank: Oh! Miss Goody-Two-Shoes! Wants the good for Greg, but wants to file a divorce how hippocritical! Maybe you only care for the good of yourself and not this family!

Susan storms out of the door, to who knows where.

Greg had heard this conversation multiple times. He was crying on his bed upstairs. His parents were on the brink of divorce. It was bound to happen in within a month. He would usually go over to Rowely's house whenever this happened, but he felt Rowely no longer understood him. Rowleys "Super happy idiot" personality was just bugging Greg at that point. In desperation, and need of a friend, Greg looked out the window. On his porch, he saw an orange cat.
