Hope you like, Yes-chan!

"Sou-chaaaan, I don't want to wear a hat. It will mess up my hair!"

Soubi sighed. Kio was pouting, which made him look impossibly cute. Of course, the fact that he was wearing an oversized, fur-lined, slightly poofy coat didn't hurt either. Speaking of which…

"I look ridiculous enough in this coat!"

"But you're still cold, aren't you?" said Soubi, in a tone one might use to explain something to a child.

"Yes..."

"And you'd like to be warm, wouldn't you?"

"Yes…"

"Wearing a hat will help you warm up, Kio."

"A better heating system will help me warm up," Kio grumbled, pacing back and forth, hugging himself. "Which we don't have enough money for, Soubi."

"Perhaps if you would do some work from time to time…"

"Why do you have to be a painter?"

Soubi ignored the question. "In the meantime," he said, "you'd rather be cold and not have messy hair."

"I'll look stupid. You won't like it."

"You won't look stupid. You don't look stupid now. Personally, I think it's a good look for you."

Kio raised an eyebrow. "Really?" he asked suspiciously.

Soubi nodded, grinning.

"Well, well," Kio drawled, smiling coyly.

"And I might like it even more if you put on a hat…"

"How much more, exactly?"

"Why don't you put it on, and then we'll see."

"Kiss me first, and then I'll put it on."

Soubi shook his head. "Put it on, and then I'll kiss you."

Kio huffed, mumbled something that sounded like, "Damn you," but went and got a hat anyway. A lime-green wool hat.

"You put it on for me," he demanded petulantly, thrusting the hat toward Soubi.

"Now, Kio…"

Kio started pouting. Soubi gave up.

"All right." He took the hat and placed it gently on Kio's head, who then stepped back.

"Well?" he said, spreading out his arms and doing a 360. "What do you think?"

"I think you look adorable," Soubi said, moving close to him. Kio smiled angelically.

"Kiss me, then." He leaned toward him, but Soubi pulled back.

"Wait."

"What?" Kio whined. Soubi pointed at the ceiling, a smirk on his lips.

"No mistletoe."

"I really ought to smack you," Kio sighed.

Soubi slipped his arms inside the coat. "You should be cold more often, Kio-chan."

Kio smirked back, pressing his forehead to Soubi's. "Shut up," he whispered.

"Make me."

So he did.
