AN: This was supposed to be the third chapter of Double Agent, however somehow (not entirely sure how) it got really out of character and weird. It obviously wasn't going to work as an actual part of the story (as you'll see when you read it), but it took me time to write it so I figured I'd post it anyway. It was actually kind of fun to just go all out with it. Hopefully it'll be a good laugh and not too odd.
"SAM!"
Sam sat up and blinked sleepily.
"SAM! GET UP!"
Sam groaned and rolled off her bed.
"I'm coming Alex, relax."
She opened the door and stared at her friend who seemed extremely frustrated.
"Okay, I hate to be the mom type here, since that's usually you Sammie, but Clover refuses to wake up because she has a hangover and we're supposed to meet Sca-, Tim, in an hour to discuss plans," she ranted.
Sam only half awake just replied with a "Yeah, okay,"
Alex raised her eyebrows and said, "Are you going to help me with her?"
"Oh, yeah, I'll be there in a sec,"
After washing her face and fully waking up, Sam groaned at the thought of dealing with Clover during a hangover. She really shouldn't drink when she can't handle it. Sam sighed and walked over to Clover's room, Alex was already waiting for her.
"Ready to go in?" she asked.
"Not really, Clover with a hangover is worse than anything we have ever faced on a mission, but I guess we don't really have a choice do we?" Sam replied.
With a knowing look she pushed the door open. Clover looked as innocent as she ever could under her bed covers, yet Alex and Clover both knew very well that looks could be deceiving, in this case, very deceiving.
"I'm going to get the bucket of water as our all else fails plan," Alex stated.
"Oh, so you're going to leave me here with her?"
"Hey, I already faced her wrath once, now it's you're turn!" Alex defended.
"Fine."
As Alex left Sam looked around the room for something to help her, she spotted a radio on one of the tables and an idea struck her. She unplugged the radio and moved it to Clover's bedside table, after plugging it back in she turned the volume all the way up and then turned the radio on before running into the closet for safety. Sam heard a scream, or more like a monster's roar, and then heard a smash, which was probably the radio. She looked in the room to see Clover with her head buried under the covers. The radio had been thrown to the floor, but somehow didn't even leave a scratch on the wood flooring. She is going to be so mad when she finds out that was her radio. Sam looked around the room again hoping there would be something else she could use. Seeing nothing, she cringed, knowing what she would have to do next. She walked over to Clover's bed and grabbed the sheets, then, with all the strength she had in her, she pulled. Clover was needless to say very upset by the loss of warmth. Before Clover could attack Sam, however, Alex ran in with the bucket of water and poured it over Clover.
"Nice going, Sammie, you got her out of the bed,"
Clover seemed shocked for a moment, but after recovering she groaned, "My head is killing me!" Sam and Alex rolled their eyes.
"You really should stop drinking; you can't handle it, Clover." Alex stated.
"I just became old enough to drink, of course I can't handle it…yet," Clover replied. "Just go get ready, so we can leave, Clover," Sam said exasperatedly. There was no point in having an argument over Clover's drinking problems.
So I just kinda ended it there. There was no point in continuing it when I realized quite early into this chapter that it was more of a crackfic than a real story.
