The light eyes of Sosuki opened as the body slowly rose up from his bed. Sosuki yawned, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, gazed out his window, noticing it was still dark at 4 A.M. He gathered his clothing and went to the bathroom to take a cold shower before school.

Walking zombie-like down the hall, he opened the bathroom door to be greeted by his light, his reason for getting up, his reason for living, Kitsune. Kitsune was just turning on the water to brush his teeth.

"Ah, Sosuki, your up so early, what's troubling you?"

The brunette merely replied with "Nothing, just taking a shower."

The hazel-eyed Kitsune replied with a nod, finishing brushing his teeth.

"Do you want to take a shower together then? I'll wash your back for you"

Sosuki didn't care for it had been awhile since they had done anything.

He took off his clothing and a couple of minutes later; he was showering in cold water with his hikari.

Obsidian eyes filled with light as he walked to school with Kitsune. The two had met at the school and were in the same classes. Kitsune had left earlier while Sosuki had breakfast. Now the two were reunited but for the most boring part of their day.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"KITSUNE!"

Sleepy eyes opened in pure terror, as he sat up, crying. His Hikari had gone missing the day before, right after school. He never showed up where they usually met to walk home. Sosuki noticed something was wrong when Kitsune had not shown up for an hour and wouldn't pick up his phone. Horror gripped the pale boy as his world turned inside out. He was a wreck, looking everywhere, wondering what happened. Sosuki had no idea what happened to Kitsune, and could do nothing except wait. Nightmares kept coming back...he couldn't get any sleep. The lights flicked on as the rain pellet the window.

Sosuki was afraid.

He sat with his back against the wall, staring out at the blank sky, waiting for answers.

Answers that would never come.

Sosuki couldn't breathe.

His whole world was gone- taken from him in an instant. He needed to calm down, hoping that Kitsune would come back. He just needed rest.

Just rest.

He watched the rain fall with a weary look on his face. The soft sound of the rain hitting the window was lulling him to sleep, his eyes closing slowly...

Kitsune.
