"He is coming, He wont stop. Metal against bone... untill your alone." I read from the broken cobblestone, the letters were engraved into it with blood from what I could only suspect to be his previous victims. Who was 'He?' what does it mean by 'metal against bone...until your alone.'
I struggled against the chains binding me to this old wooden chair, as i sobbed against the gag tightly wrapped around my jaw. My white tank top soaked from the sweat poaring from my skin out of pure fear, as fatigue began to set in. I could smell the stench of rotting meat and flesh.
I should have stayed behind, why did I follow them here, I should have stayed... I should have stayed.
FLASHBACK-
The bell chimmed loudly, as I let out a deap breath and allowed a bitter smile onto my face. Summer break, let's go!
I grabbed my bag, lifting it onto one shoulder while putting my chair back underneath the desk, before heading out into the hallway. As I walked out the door I noticed my friend Jade walking towards me at a fast pace. Her smile beaming.
"Hey Tori! You ready for the snow!?"
"Yeah! I can't wait! Are you taking the CRV?"
"Yup, but you and Amy are taking the kawaski's" She stated.
"Why can't we go with you in the car?" I raised a eyebrow in suprise.
"Me and amy brought like 10 packs of V and enough cheedos to last like 3 weeks, let alone then there's all the gear, so the car is quite literaly packed." She smiled, her brown hair dangling around her shoulders.
By now we were walking towards the car park and I headed straight towards my Bike, then reved the engine, and put my helmet on.
"So come meet me at my house later and we will head off."
"Yep! Just be ready when we come, its a long trip so we want to leave as soon as we can."
"Ok, see ya Jade!"
I rode pretty fast, but still in the speed limit most of the time, and made it home in minutes. I kicked out the stand and made my way inside, where I was greeted by my dad.
"Hey how was school?"
"Good" I replied before racing into my room and packing up anything I might need. I grabbed a heap of warm clothes and some gloves and socks. I grabbed some boots and a hat as well as my board. "Shit! don't wana forget this!" I said before grabbing my ipod and a box of chocolate. can't go on a snow trip without chocolate, my friend would kill me if I forgot the chocolate. Its funny how we are all so dependant on it. I also grabbed a first aid kit, knowing how accident proned Amy is.
As I walked outside to my ride I saw Amy on her kawaski, and Jade in the CRV with her older sister crystal driving, and sure enough, a almost completely packed back seat and boot.
They parked in the driveway and Amy walked up to me.
"Hey Tori you ready!"
"Yeah I just need to hook up the bags to my bike and I'm good."
"Great because you are taking the food."
"Seriously!?" "Yeah, because we realised we need to fit some of your stuff in the car so we are giving you the cheedos." I opened my mouth to reply but my bags were taken off me and loaded into the car, and I was given the food to put in the bags latched onto the back of my bike. I also put in some extra fuel cans and the first aid kit.
I put in my earphones and played This is war by 30 seconds to mars, as the long trip ahead begun.
