Raven sat on her bed , Beast Boy's words were repeating over and over in her head"You think your alone Raven, but you're not." Today had been a hard for her, Malchior had lied to her and used her to get free from the book, but the strangest thing of that day is how she felt about Beast Boy. She never realized how sweet and considerate Beast Boy could be, she always thought he was immature and all about jokes. She picked up her mirror and was going to meditate but then she reached under her bed and grabbed the book she carefully kept hidden. The book was filled with her thoughts and poems. There was at least over fifty poems written in it. Raven turned to a clean page and wrote the words of the poem down as it came to her.

This mirror that I hold in my hand

Can it really help me to understand

My emotions are getting harder to contain

And to everyone it is bringing pain

I can't control it any longer

My emotions are getting stronger

I can't let anyone see my tears

And I must hide all my fears

So no one can truly see

What is becoming of me

But on the inside it isn't going well

The darkness is taking over

It's getting closer and closer

Can anyone save me!

Can anyone help me!

I'm almost near the end

I just need , all I need..is a friend

She smiled as she read what she had just written. The black ink glimmered in the light. Raven carefully closed the book and stared at the cover. She had never given much thought about it. The cover had a picture of a raven in flight and under the raven was her name. She ran her hand across the cover then carefully slid it back to its hiding place. Outside her window the moonlight glistened across the water. It had to be almost midnight. She crawled under the covers and slowly and fell asleep.
