I felt conflicted. I had finally got the story and I had killed Billy Loomiss. I was going to be a rich successful woman. I should be flying back to New York.
The only problem was a man named Dewey Riley who I had began to really like.
He made me not want to leave Woodsboro.
He had been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the back by the killer.
I felt like I should go and visit him to make sure he was ok. He had been through a lot. His sister had been killed. She was a real bitch but she didn't deserve to die. None of them did, not the two teens, not the principal, not Tatum and not my camera man Kenny.
Sure he was lazy and useless and had to be told a thousand times to do something but he didn't deserve to have his throat cut.
I had to go visit him. I had to go say goodbye and wish him the best.
I visited the Woodsboro hospital and asked where he was.
I was shown where he was staying and he was sat in bed with a bandage around his waist and back. He had just had surgery and was left with a severed nerve which would leave him with a limp for sometime, maybe even for the rest of his life.
He was told he may not even be able to remain a policeman anymore. It added to his woes and I was about to land him another blow. I was leaving for New York.
We kissed passionately in his hospital bed and he told me to stay with him in Woodsboro.
I Can't Stay Here were my words.
I had tears and so did he.
I could tell he had strong feelings for me as I did for him but it would never work out between us and I could not do a long distance relationship.
We kissed again. And I left.
When I returned to New York I had regrets. I left a good man behind.
All the other men I ever dated treated me like crap and used me.
Dewey was different. I could tell he was the settling down type of guy who probably wanted a house with a white picket fence, a wife and beautiful children running around the yard.
I wasn't ready for that. I didn't even know whether I ever would be.
I went back to work and published the woodsboro murders which was then turned into a movie called Stab directed by Robert Rodriguez.
I also helped Cotton Weary get freed from jail for a crime he never committed.
The day after opening night I received a phone call telling me two students had been killed at Windsor during the screening.
I hopped on the plane to Windsor knowing Sidney Prescott lives there. It had to be related. I also brought Cotton along.
Little did I know I would see him again and we would be going through all this again.
Author note: So last night I bored and I was thinking about what happened between Dewey and Gale after the movie and this is what I liked to think happened. Enjoy!!.
