My family and I were outside watching the stars and making animals and whatever popped into our head of them, and we try and see if the others can see it to, if they can, they get a point and so do you, if they do not they do not get a point but you do. I know that it sounds lame, but it gives us something fun to do as a family and we always end up laughing in the end. This is also one of our traditions as well, on a calm cloudless night we all come outside, with our blanket, and lay under the stars.
Our happy moment was broken when we heard a loud roar; we all turned around and saw one of the dragons that likes to hang around the pasture not that far from our cottage. They usually are very gentle creatures and they do not attack without a reason behind it. The one that is in front of us is Iceheart; he has dark blue scales, red underbelly and deep forest green eyes.
We all looked at him in shock, something was off with him, instead of his normal eye color, his eye are pitch red, no pupil in sight, there was no emotion to him at all. I was about to walk over to him, to see what was wrong, and to see what I could do to help him, he is my friend after all. That is where I spent most of my time, hanging out with Iceheart and his herd of dragons. Mom had stopped me from walking,
"Its not safe" she said, my eyes widened as he shot a ball of ice blue fire at our cottage causing it to uproar into flames. We were stunned, it didn't take the elders long to come over to us, it was like they knew this was happening, I also learned to never question the elders. They quickly got the dragon secured in a cage, and then turned to look at me, making me more scared.
"We need to get you somewhere safe, it is you that he is after, we will send your friends to watch over you and to protect you" one of the elders said, I was about to say something when screaming and roaring got my attention. We all turned around to the sound in just enough time to see that Iceheart had broken out of his cage and gotten away from the other elders and attacked my family. I was about to go over to them and see if they were alright when the elders that were around me started to pull me away, not letting me see anything, I know they did for my sake, but I need to know. I tried going back but they stopped me,
"If you go back, you will be walking right into his hands, and their scarifies will be in vain" that made me keep walking. As we got to the portal that separated our little world from the rest of it I saw my friends; Blake- He can control fire, Jake- He can control earth, Ceri- She can control air, and me- I can control water and magic (Though I am not that good at it yet, and still in training) before we could ask any questions, they pushed us into the portal and into a whole different world, one that is the exact opposite of ours. After they did, they closed the portal so he can not pass through, they had informed us that it will be reopened when everything was settled, and that no one will remember us when we went back.
