"What's that?" Nigel asked Lily.

"Mistletoe."

"No, I know what it is, what I meant is, what are you doing with it?"

"It's Christmas. It wouldn't be Christmas without mistletoe."

"We've gone without it every other year, why this year?"

Lily shrugged. "It just felt right."

Nigel shook his head and walked off. He had to admit he was a bit grumpy this year, again having no one to share Christmas with. He sighed. It got harder and harder every year, being alone. She had her father, and Woody, why would she want him? He was…Nigel shook his head as Garrett walked in. "Nigel got an old lady for you in two, looks like natural causes."

Then he was gone.

Nigel sighed and headed off to scrub up

Nigel was muttering to himself as he got cleaned up, about Christmas, commercialism and the world in general. He was still muttering to himself as he headed to his office, when he bumped into someone. "Sorry, I-" He looked up to find himself looking into Jordan's eyes "-wasn't looking where I was going." He finished lamely. They were still gazing into each other's eyes when Lily suddenly began to clap excitedly. "Look! They're under the mistletoe!"

With consternation, both looked up to see that she was indeed right.

"You have to kiss." Lily reminded them.

Jordan and Nigel looked into each other's eyes, and took a deep breath. Their faces moved closer together…and then their lips brushed tentatively, then with more confidence. People stuck their heads out of office doors, Garrett stopped dead in his tracks, but they didn't notice, they were so engrossed in the kiss.

It was only when a cheer rang out that they stopped.

Jordan flushed. She hadn't meant to get so into it. She then shrugged, and pulled Nigel to her for another kiss, this time not hearing the cheer that rang out.
