This is my first fic and it probably sucks but I hope you like it! I couldn't really think of a good title for this so I just did Sparks Can Bring Us Together. If you don't like it, suck it up.

Sparks Can Bring Us Together

Chapter 1: Plans for the 4th Of July

Kairi, Selphie, Namine and Olette were at the beach one sunny afternoon. Olette had moved to Twilight Town when she was 12 and was visiting for the holiday.

"So…what are we going to do for 4th of July this year?" Selphie asked.

"How about the same thing we always do." Kairi answered.

"You mean watch the fireworks? We should do something else this year. They're always so boring!" Selphie complained.

You just don't like loud noises!" Namine smirked.

"I do too!"

"Don't you remember last year?" Namine asked. Selphie turned red.

Flashback

"C'mon Selphie! They're about to start!" Kairi pushed the shaking brunette toward the field. "Hey Kairi, Selphie, Namine, Olette!" Sora waved. They turned around and waved back. BOOM! They started setting them off. Selphie screamed so loud, you could probably hear her miles away. Everyone looked at her. "Heh heh." The rest of that night she walked around with the hood to her jacket over her face.

"So I have sensitive ears!" She yelled. The others laughed.

"That was also the night that Selphie was going to ask Tidus out!" Olette said. "Did you see his face when she screamed?" She slapped her hands over her ears.

"He was the only one I saw that actually covered his ears!" Namine pointed out. They all laughed (except of Selphie) again.

"That's it! See you later." Selphie grumbled. She got up and left. The others stopped laughing.

"We were joking." Kairi said.

"I feel bad." Namine frowned. "Yeah." The other two agreed.

Awkward silence

They were oblivious to anything going on around them. Selphie came up and pushed them forward. They all gasped.

"Oh my god Selphie, you scared us!" Kairi breathed.

"And I'm the scared one?"

"Oh Selph, we never said you were the scared one…just when it comes to fireworks." Olette smiled. They all chuckled.

"I guess your right. I am a bit jumpy when it comes to loud noises." She said.

"A bit?" Kairi questioned.

Selphie shot her a don't-go-there-again look. She just smiled.

"So…if we do go to the fireworks, are you going to come with?" Namine asked.

"Of course I will! I may be scared but im not a chicken!" Selphie laughed. The others did too.

"What time is it?" Kairi asked.

"5:25." Namine said looking at her waterproof watch.

Kairi frowned. "We have to go." She said directing her attention to Olette. Olette was staying with Kairi for the two weeks she'd be there.

"We should go too then." Selphie said. "Besides, it's getting late anyway."

The four got up and shook their towels.

"See you tomorrow!" Selphie waved as she ran into her beach house. Namine was next.

"See you later." She called and disappeared.

"And then there were two." Olette joked.

"Your weird." Kairi lightly pushed her and ran through the gate that connected Namine's yard and her own.

Wait for me! Olette yelled and ran after her.

Well that was the first chapter. Like I said before…this is my first fic so please no flames! Oh and the chapters will get longer as the story progresses. Anyway, I hope you liked it!
