The beginning of a new day...

There was something about the way that Seth looked at her, it was like he could see through to her very core with one glance and she had no idea how to stop it. She wasn't even sure she wanted to. He was attractive, he was funny and he had that aura around him that just made her long for his attention, but she had no idea what to do about it.

He was popular, he was smart and he had everything he wanted, don't think she hadn't noticed the group of girls around him everyday, why would he choose her? Lexi was popular too, but she was popular with the drama guys, they came from two different circles and she had no idea how to approach him.

It was dinner time and the groups of drama guys headed over to the canteen, she noticed he was at the back of his own group with his head in a book. He always had his head in a book. Urgh, Seth was so smart! She got her food and sat chatting about the upcoming productions when she glanced over at Seth and saw that he was looking over at her.

She moved uncomfortably in her seat before she slowly got up and headed to the ladies bathroom. She entered the stall and breathed why did he make her feel so hot. Damn, she toweled herself down and headed back to her friends but as she opened the bathroom door. Seth was waiting.

"Hey, how are you?" He asked.

"I'm errm, warm. How, how how are you? She replied, stuttering and struggling to make eye contact.

"I'm good", he smiled, before taking her hand and realising she was shaking. "Calm down" he smiled as she squirmed under his gaze.

Damn it, she thought, how do I get out of this?

"I'm Lexi" She mumbled.

"Seth." he smiled, once again holding out his hand which she took, slowly.

"I see you're a technical assistant guy?" She asked.

"You perform it, we do the real hard work behind the scenes?" He grinned.

"Jerk" She thought but smiled and said "I guess so, I mean learning lines and ques and spaces and emotions, that stuff is easy right?"

He grinned once again and replied "Yeah compared to having to learn lighting ques, stage direction and music."

"I see your point, but our job is just as hard."

"I used to do your job, then I wanted something more challenging." he mocked

"Wow, you're such a dick." She responded before letting go of his hand and heading back to the canteen.

Seth shouted after her but she ignored his calls and gave him a death stare as she left.

Seth didn't realise he had done anything wrong, he was a little big headed but he had good reason to be, he was the college golden boy he was heading for greatness, everyone else was looking towards University but he was heading into a decent paying job and a lot of fun as soon as he left college and he would be damned if he didn't have fun first. His best friend Dean Ambrose was a well known manwhore around college and he had decided that monogamy was no longer for him. He was gonna sleep with as many girls as he could before next July and he was gonna love doing it. He was not a committed boy anymore.

Lexi got back home that night and sighed, what was today, why was she so uncomfortable around him? Even his gaze hurt when it fell upon her, she had no idea how to interact with him if she saw him tomorrow, how can a guy so beautiful have such an arrogant interior?
