"Gift That Keeps On Giving"
This is a BH story taking place during "Home Again", at the surprise party. I take the Brandon/Andrea relationship the way I wanna take it. Read on… JJJ
"Did you know about this?" Andrea Zuckerman smiled. "Yeah, Kelly told me a little while ago, but it was a surprise." Brandon Walsh nodded as they stood next to each other away from everyone else in the Peach Pit.
Before this, when the Walsh's thought they were going back to Minnesota, he and Andrea had made a pact that they were going to sleep together as a goodbye to one another. But now
"What are you thinking?", She asked. Brandon smiled. "You seem to know what I'm thinking, so why don't you tell me?" Andrea shook her head. "I usually can tell, but I can't this time. So go ahead."
He looked around. "Can we go outside and talk about this?" Andrea nodded and followed him out the front doors of the restaurant. Once out there, she exhaled a deep breath, waiting for Brandon to say whatever it is that he wanted to say.
"I mean, you and I were talking about this…being together thing." Andrea nodded slowly. "Right, we were…so what?" Brandon didn't really know how to say this. He was feeling a little tongue-tied.
"Well even though we're not leaving anymore, I think that I still wanna give it a try." That wasn't what she expected him to say. She thought that he wasn't going to want to pursue a relationship, but continue to keep being friends.
"Although, there is a lot to be said for our friendship.", He added. Andrea nodded. "Yes, that's true. We do have a great friendship. Is a relationship really worth screwing that up?"
She and Brandon both stood there for a few moments, thinking the situation over, weighing the pros and cons to each side of the equation. Finally, Andrea turned to him, determination on her face.
"Brandon, I'm not gonna lie to you anymore. I've had…feelings for you ever since you moved here. You were nothing but a pain in the ass for me and I loved that about you. You challenged me."
He couldn't help but smile. "So my decision was made then. I've always wanted to be with you. So I would love to give a relationship a shot." She waited to see what he was going to say.
"Andrea, I'm not gonna lie to you either. Since we moved here, I've felt that you and I had a connection, chemistry. I just never wanted to ruin our friendship. But I think our friendship could be a good foundation for a relationship. Plus…"
She looked at him, one eyebrow raised. "You're an amazing kisser." Andrea laughed and felt herself blush a little. "Yeah, about before, I didn't mean to be that forward." But Brandon shook his head.
"Never apologize for making the first move, Andrea. Guys love when girls make the first move. And I loved that you kissed me like that. In fact, I wouldn't mind if you did it again right now…"
Andrea raised her eyebrows. "Really?" He nodded. So she licked her lips and then pressed them to his. Brandon wrapped his arms around her waist and deepened the kiss as Andrea wrapped her arms around his neck.
When they pulled away, Andrea said, "Wow." Brandon nodded. "I agree." They smiled at each other. "We should probably get back inside." Andrea nodded this time. "Probably." Only this time they went inside holding hands.
