Buffy hated being the Slayer, having the weight of the world hoisted onto her shoulders. Didn't the whatever the powers know that this could damage her popularity status or play havoc with a young girls social life?
She hated being the new girl pretty much sucked in her book. Strange town, people she didn't know and an annoying new librarian that already tried to talk her back into Slaying.
Could this be any worse?
