AN: A new story that if someone likes it I'll update regularly but if not I'll update every once in a while so I can work on different pieces -
Today is my birthday. It would be a fun day but today it host a new important date… the Abduction of Katniss and Peeta Mellark, my parents. The men came into the house quickly jumping in through windows and such. Me and mom were were in the kitchen baking cookies for my party and dad was painting on the back porch but came running inside as soon as he heard the crashes. He opened a drawer that contained 2 tasers and a few pocket knifes. I've always questioned why we needed the stuff seeing as we were just a humble middle class family not rich and famous. He grabbed both tasers and a knife. He gave my mom a taser, kept one for himself and gave me a knife and hid me in a small closet. "Stay in there no matter what Lily"He said closing the door " No matter what". Then Mom and him ran into the living room. For several minutes I heard sounds of a scuffle but the eventually stopped.
I waited for 20 minutes then I came out and headed to the living room. It was a huge mess, the table was broke in half the armchair was flipped and the TV was smashed. But pinned to the door it said "You'll never see them again". I saw that and I wilted like a flower, crumpling to floor with tears running down my face.I cried for a good 10 minutes before I pulled myself together enough to where i could call the cops and my brother Alec who was at a skatepark called "L8tr Sk8ter".
20 minutes later I was being questioned in my room by Officer Haymitch. "Now I know It's hard but I need you to tell me what happened" He said settling down onto my desk chair. So I recounted the story to him with him interrupting with questions at times. "One last question"He said getting up "Is there anyone who would want to hurt your parents?". "No my parents are just your average painter and college professor!"I replied. "Alright thanks for cooperating but you're going to have to pack a bag of clothes you're staying with Alec's friend for tonight until we contact your family. "great, my parents are gone and now I get to spend the night with 2 annoying 11 year olds instead of one" I thought to myself feeling miserable as I packed up thinking how bad my birthday turned out to be. -So now we have the mystery of who kidnapped Katniss and Peeta. If you guess who you will be featured in either this story or a new one. Oh and in this one they only have 2 children
