Part Three:

"Gwen, I'm glad you're here," Ethan said.

"Me too." She quickly walked over to Ethan and kissed him. "I knew that you'd pick me."

He pulled away from Gwen. "It's not you I've chosen, Gwen. It's Theresa."

Gwen was silent. "Are you kidding me?"

"No, I'm afraid not. That's why I wanted you here."

Gwen laughed. "Why, so you could rub in my face that you've chosen that gold-digging whore over me?"

"No, I just wanted you to know that I love you as a friend. Theresa has proven her love to me."

"Oh, like I haven't? Who was by your side when Sheridan died? Who was there when her will was read? Ethan, Sheridan was giving our children money, not yours and Theresa's!"

"Look, Gwen, I've chosen her. There's nothing you can do to change my mind."

Gwen slapped Ethan and threw her ring at his feet. "Oh, yeah? We'll just see about that."

They watched her go and then Ethan turned to Theresa and kneeled.

"Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald, will you be my wife?"

"Do you even have to ask?" Theresa laughed and kissed Ethan.

"Is that a yes?"

"Of course it's a yes!" Theresa cried.

Ethan laughed and enveloped Theresa in a bear hug.

"Luis?" Sam called.

Luis looked up from the sheaf of papers that he was reading and looked up at Sam.

"Yeah, what is it?"

"There's an FBI agent on the scanner for you. Says it's urgent."

"What's he what?"

Sam shrugged. "Something about Sheridan."

"Sheridan?" Luis asked.

"Yeah." Sam said.

Luis picked up his intercom and patched through.

"Yeah, this is Luis."

"Luis, this is Hal Freeman of the FBI. I need you to meet me and Hank at Sheridan's grave."

"Why?"

"I can't tell you. Just go, now!"

"Ok, ok!" Luis said and then the connection went dead.

Sam eyed Luis. "What'd he want?"

Luis grabbed his coat. "He wants me to meet him at Sheridan's grave."

"Why?" Sam asked.

"I don't know." Luis said, and was gone.
